Talk about a hidden gem in Valley Center! Cado Cafe serves organic food picked right from the property or sourced from local farms and ranches. CJ and Mya prepare high quality, healthy, and creative meals and coffee drinks to order at unbelievably reasonable prices. The ambience is so calm and peaceful, so different from loud restaurants where it’s hard to carry on conversations. This is the only cafe where I don’t mind going alone because it’s the perfect place for meditation and journaling. I love being able to shop while I’m there and often go home with freshly picked avocados, lemons, and tangelos; French butter; eggs; and pork breakfast sausage. I have quickly become a regular, and for those who are not, they even provide free delivery once a week for farm members. Check it out! You’ll be so glad you did.

I adore the Cado cafe. I wish I lived closer so I could visit daily. I love that it’s truly farm-to-table and everything is locally sourced. You just know you’re getting amazing quality food. I’ve dined there a couple of times and am always so impressed. I’ve had Mya as the server and she is the sweetest! They have the best Chai Tea latte and Vietnamese coffee. You can’t go wrong with any of the drink options, even the regular latte is great. I’ve had the egg tacos which were fantastic. I love that she put pickled onions and fresh cilantro on top. Chefs kiss!
When I went with my family we shared the beet hummus with carrots (which were the best carrots I’ve ever had) and the caprese dip, it was delicious. I’ve also had the ground beef and potato salad. I can’t wait to go back and try more of their items. Just thinking about the food is making me hungry!
The owner, CJ is wonderful and really puts so much effort into making this place a magical destination.
If you’re in the area definitely check this place out!!!

I’m a big fan of the breakfast sandwich and also highly recommend the cheeseburger. I appreciate the freshness and quality of the ingredients. I always end up going home with some of the grocery products and fresh produce. Since I live right down the road, you can’t beat it for convenience.
