I enjoyed my experiences here. The waitstaff were friendly and attentive. The food was well priced for airport food, flavorful and well made. I liked that they also accept Priority Pass and the place was well located. Good overall ambiance!

⭐️ 1 Star or less. IAH Airport Deserves Better

I had one of the worst airport dining experiences I’ve ever had at IAH. I paid $18 for two eggs with eggshells complementary in eggs, 1 slice-toast and burnt Mc Cain potatoes noted no meat, for a breakfast that was completely sub-par and borderline inedible. The potatoes were burnt to a crisp, dry, and tasted like they had been sitting out far too long. The rest of the plate wasn’t any better. flavourless, poorly prepared, and absolutely not worth the outrageous price. Beautifully stained coffee cups!!

The service was just as disappointing. Two people dining food served at different times. Slow, inattentive, and unfriendly asking for milk they brought cream no one checked on the table, and when the food came out wrong asked for poached, serving was scrabbled, why be bothered to ask how would you like your eggs? There was zero effort to make anything right. When you’re traveling, especially through a major international airport, you expect at least basic hospitality and edible food. This was neither. What you see is what I was served and how I left it paying before I ate requested should have been an indicator.

Charging premium airport prices should at least come with decent quality and service, but this restaurant delivered neither. I left hungry, frustrated, and feeling completely ripped off. IAH seriously needs to hold their food vendors to a much higher standard.

I won’t be eating there again and I definitely don’t recommend it to anyone passing through. ✈️ . Texas do better!!

I don’t often do a review. But when it is a place that has a sign announcing they were recognized as a good restaurant and that actually enticed me to go there, I felt compelled to warn other diners.

It is one of those sit down restaurants where they want you to do all of the ordering on your phone.

When the food came to the table, my wife’s tacos were right there in reach. However, we had to wait until she finished a complete conversation with someone before it was set on the table.

Ok, I can get over all of that. But when you expect some really good food and get food that is better than Taco Bell for a lot more money, nah. Note I did not compare it to the legit Mexican in Kentucky.

Do not be fooled by the sign as I was.

This is the spot for Mexican food in an airport. Price for an airport was more than proportionate for the amount and quality of food that you get. My waitress Maria has the best customer service. For lunch on a Friday and a half full restaurant the food came out so fast! I got a mix of beef and chicken tacos. Recommend the beef! Will come back when I’m flying out of Houston!

Bartender saw my cup was empty and kept walking past (3 times the second time) but with male customers she asked if they needed another. I didn’t get another until I asked her for one myself and I know she saw my glass was empty because her eyes fell it everytime she walked past. Also she was on her phone a lot while I was waiting for my first refill and kept disappearing.

Nice big area with calm quiet seating compared to out in the terminal. Worth it just for that! Especially in this A terminal where there isn’t much to eat and it stays full of people.

The food is good for an airport, not the best, limited selections, and kind of expensive. Drinks can range from barely any liquor to an ok drink.

Servers are usually sparse and service slow.

Waited 40 minutes for nachos. When our food finally arrived, the waitress dropped the tray and we ended up with food all over our shoes and backpacks. She scrapped the food and broken plate into a pile and then left it on the floor. We got a replacement order 5 minutes later (complimentary, which we appreciated), and she picked up the food and broken plate. But she never mopped the floor, so we had to be careful not to step in greasy residue as we left. The nachos are great, but they don’t make up for lousy service.

Very generous with food! We ordered veggie style huarache, veggie burrito Cadillac, chips and salsa, mango and strawberry lemonade and we were so stuffed! The staff was very friendly as well! You’ll be surprised how much they give you for chips and salsa!!
We’ll be back again! 🙂
Cheers
