Great restaurant to chill and enjoy a simple but on point vibe (manly/adventurous), unique and cool concept. Loved the atmosphere and the menu. The food, tasted delicious, generous portions with fine texture and melt in mouth bites. The best so far in the area. Came here for a quick meal but stayed for the rest of the evening. Compliments to the Chef that works wonders of taste and texture. Fair prices.

We decided to try this place. Food and service were very good. They are owned by the same people as Muscoot Tavern. The Menu has a wide selection. There was a warm atmosphere with themed decor. Definitely worth trying.

The atmosphere was friendly, but, quiet. A sports bar standing right next to family dining, I thought would be busier, but, the service was courteous and cooperative. They even refunded our money for an half-eaten salad that my lady couldn’t finish. The staff responded to our every request…usually the first time and promptly. My lady and I left satisfied with a smile on our faces.

We had dined at the Muscoot Tavern a few years ago and were hopeful that they would bring the same experience to the old PJ’s.
Sadly, it fell flat from the start. We were seated by the windows, where the new owners hadn’t even bothered to scrape off the excess paint splattered across the glass, setting a sloppy tone right away.
Service was sloppy, unfriendly, and rushed. We eventually were given a bread basket with 4 tiny pieces of bread.
We started with the French Onion Soup. was hands-down the worst we’ve ever encountered. Overly salty, with a watery, vinegary broth. Topped with mozzarella instead of Gruyere.
The entrees were no better. The seafood risotto was tasteless and mushy, with slimy calamari. The butternut squash ravioli were overcooked and had an unappetizing pesto topping.
We were asked if we wanted more bread (we did), but it never came.
The hygiene lapses were the final straw. We watched staff clear glasses from nearby tables by sticking their bare fingers inside multiple rims before rushing back to set new ones. Gross and unacceptable in any restaurant.
