This is hands down one of the best breakfast spots I’ve tried in the United States. We ordered a caramel latte, French toast, veggie omelette, and baby jacks—and every single item impressed us.
Caramel Latte:
About three months ago, I had a latte at Cactus Cloud Café in Phoenix and honestly thought it would be hard to beat. But this place proved me wrong. The latte here was absolutely amazing—rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced.
French Toast:
It looks a little different from the usual, but don’t judge it by appearance. It was crispy on the outside, soft inside, and when paired with butter and syrup, it tasted heavenly.
Baby Jacks:
Super soft, fluffy, and delicious. Easily one of our favorites on the table.
Service:
Last but not least—great food is easy to find these days, but great service is not. We were lucky to be served by Mikala. She was warm, friendly, and always had a smile on her face. Her service truly made our breakfast experience even better. Thank you so much, Mikala, for the wonderful service!

The service received is probably the thing I will most remember about this visit because it was excellent! The server was kind, informative and friendly. I loved the art, the comfortable atmosphere, the delicious food and the delicious hot chocolate! I highly recommend the gluten free breakfast burrito smothered in their famous green chili! Overall, one of the best restaurant experiences I’ve had by far.

Late review. I came here quite hungry, and I was getting ready for a hike. I was seated pretty quickly by a waitress, even though it seemed frantically busy. It was hard to find parking since they’re so popular. Sadly, I felt a bit rushed by the waitress. I ended up going with a sizable menu item called “The Big Biscuit”. It lived up to its name!! The thick cut bacon was nice, and the gravy was flavorful. Biscuits were moist but firm. The fried chicken was great, crispy and moist on the inside. Also, the hash browns were crispy, and a nice addition to the biscuit. Overall, I recommend the Big Biscuit, if people want a big menu item to fill up. I’d definitely like to give this place another go if I’m ever back.

Best breakfast in Moab by far. We come down almost every year to enjoy the outdoors and quite frankly the food scene has started to go down hill. We haven’t found a new spot that we have fallen in love with recently until… Cactus Jacks. The Big Biscuit was incredible. Loved the fried chicken the biscuit and thick cut bacon. The country gravy over everything made it awesome!

Great Breakfast Spot in Moab’s Adventure Hub
Cactus Jacks Restaurant in Moab (located at 190 S Main St) is a great place to start your day in one of the world’s most adventurous cities. Open everyday, they offer an extensive menu with both American breakfast classics and Mexican-style dishes.
The breakfast menu has something for everyone – from traditional plates like The Standard (eggs, hash browns, meat and toast) to heartier options like The Big Biscuit with fried chicken, or their signature Big Ol’ Cinnamon Roll made from the original recipe. They also offer breakfast burritos, huevos rancheros, omelets, and griddle items like their CHX + Waffles (fried chicken with Belgian waffles).
Beyond breakfast, they serve lunch with burgers, tacos (including Baja Fish Tacos and Jack’s Pork Tacos), salads, and their unique Cactus Jack’s Pork Bowl. Prices are reasonable, with most breakfast plates ranging from $14-$16.
The dine-in atmosphere is nice and welcoming in the morning.
It’s a solid choice for breakfast when you’re exploring Moab and need to fuel up before hitting the trails!

Ooh dang. This place was great. I loved the fried chicken and gravy and biscuits I had. The atmosphere was bumping, busy at 11:30 am on a Monday. The hostess was super nice and let me charge my device at the counter while I ate. The coffee was decent but oh man that fried chicken was superb. I will be back when I come back to Moab. The service was quick and the food was even quicker. I was eating within 10 minutes of ordering. And I ate every bite. I was surprised at the bill. It was cheap, but man it was not cheap food.

We came at 10 am on a Sunday so pretty peak time. We had a much larger wait than what was quoted due to there system messing up and we were only given a table after proving it was their system which is the only reason I can’t give 5 stars. The food was great and our waitress was absolutely amazing. Hands down the best breakfast food in town and worth the wait. All in all a great experience apart from the waitlist and being made to feel bad like we were lying about not getting a text or call for our table

Wonderful place! My wife and I went for lunch after a couple we met recommended Cactus Jacks. We went around 12:30 and were promptly seated. The server was very pleasant and took our orders. We had a the Big Ole Cinnamon Roll, Fry Bread, Veggie Omelette and Western Omelette. The Cinnamon Roll was enormous and delicious. The Fry Bread was crisp on the outside and moist on the inside. Both omelettes were fantastic as were the hash browns. The service was perfect. Would highly recommend this place!

Delicious. Just driving through. Been camping for the past 10 days. Salad is what I craved and I got a darned good one here.
Large portion of Chicken Cobb Salad. Chicken was perfectly grilled, breaded and seasoned. The bacon tastes amazing here. Plenty of lettuce, tomatoes, and cucumbers. I’m not one to share my meal, but there was so much chicken I gave 3 strips to my husband and still had plenty to myself.
Husband had the veggie omelette. He felt it has less egg than he is used to, but the veggies were really good. Topped with lots of feta cheese.
The price for the quality and amount of food served is fantastic. 2025.07 price of Chicken Cobb Salad was only $15. Craziness.
