From out of town and accidentally came upon this place… So glad I did! Wow it was delicious!! It was so adorable and lit up on the outside. It was extremely festive and the ambiance was great! You can see it yourself, the boots are really big and roomy and they have tables with chairs and on one side they have a bar with chairs and tables. Our server was Josie J, she was the sweetest most adorable girl I’ve ever met! She was so hospitable, always making sure we had everything we needed. She made up this sour cream sauce that was to die for… So delicious! I ordered the steak and shrimp. It was cooked perfectly. The steak was tender and the shrimp were plump and grilled. It had wonderful flavor! I also got a side of rice, it was just normal Mexican rice but I added some queso to it and wow that really made it good. I am so glad I came here. It was good food, good service! Can’t wait to come back!

Can’t beat the food and pricing. Stopped here because reviews were good, so I tried my hand and I was not disappointed. Little Mexican restaurant on the side of the road and it was a HIT! If you’re passing though, definitely give this place some business!!

This place has started going wayyyy down hill the past few times I’ve ordered thru door dash it has been completely wrong or missing things I paid for. Tonight my mother ordered there 2 enchiladas and it has always came with rice and beans but nope not tonight spent freaking $25 for 2 small corn tortillas wrapped in a spoon on ground beef and a drizzle of cheese on top. Very very disappointing

I had high hopes but was disappointed. The were out of tamales… then I ordered chicken enchiladas but they were out of red sauce. So I got the enchiladas with cheese sauce… it was worst cheese sauce ever… kind of like water with powdered milk and glue added. Cafe has good staff and ambiance but my enchiladas were really bad. Fajitas were tasty but something in meal gave my wife upset stomach.

Our waitress was good and the food was okay as expected. The bartender was below par. I ordered a sloppy ND it came out in a glass that had a half moon crack from one side to the other. I showed the waitress and she asked the bartender to make a new one. The second one was broken on the rim and a piece of glass actually came off when I went to take a drink. I brought that to the waitress’s attention because I personally would prefer not to eat glass if I can avoid it. The bartender was outside smoking and we’ll within earshot of my table and said ‘We’ll she’s not getting another sloppy…she can have a margarita in a Styrofoam cup..’. Had I wanted margaritas i would have ordered that to begin with. My daughter arrived and I went in with her to order her and I a drink. The bartender got her drink made and walked away not acknowledging the fact that I was standing at the bar as well. She did not ask if I needed anything nor was there ever an apology of any sort for the 2 broken glasses that I was presented with. I had forgotten why I didn’t go to Cactus but I remembered after this visit. Her attitude is horrible and makes customers feel like they are beneath her or wrong for wanting what they order and they are infringing on her valuable time. Not a good atmosphere.

It was great! I ordered guacamole to begin with…made fresh with onions, tomatoes, and jalapenos chopped up in it. For my meal, I had the chicken taco salad. The chicken was grilled to perfection. The vegetables were fresh, and crispy. The waitress never let my glass run dry, and was friendly and courteous. I enjoyed the meal, the ambience, and the experience as a whole. I like Mexican food, but I love Cactus Jack’s Cantina!
