I always enjoy coming to this amazing steakhouse because Jose is a great guy who takes excellent care of me and my friend every time we come. They do a fantastic job with the Prime Rib, and the Caesar salad with artichoke fish is delicious. All the staff are very friendly.

Tremendous dining experience, as always! However, we have found a home away from home in the comfort Jose and David have made in the Cactus Creek Steakhouse bar. They are always so incredibly helpful, skillfully welding delicious libations that wet the pallet. Both always smiling and quick to wait on us, sure. But the real experience is in the welcoming conversation and camaraderie. I cannot recommend the experience enough!

We had an amazing experience at this place! The service is outstanding, and the portion sizes are generous—especially for the price. The steak was absolutely delicious, definitely one of the best we’ve had in town! We visited for the second time, and it was just as incredible as the first. The staff continues to impress, and the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. The restaurant is also impeccably clean, which really adds to the overall experience. This is our favorite steakhouse in Reno. The blackened prime rib is out of this world and the baked potatoes are huge so you can easily split it with another person, we always enjoy the Caesar salad and we share that too. The best part about Cactus Creek is their customer service. Jose is by far the nicest most attentive and hard-working manager of a restaurant I have seen or met in a long time. Debra, our server was amazing. We will definitely be coming back.

I’ll start by saying that the service was great! Jose was an awesome server and bartender. He made sure we were well taken care of and he was able to seat us at the bar when they were busy. Thank you!
I was a little unhappy with the halibut plate.. I thought the flavors would’ve meshed together but they didn’t. Oh well lesson learned. I will try another plate next time! 🙂 but the other plates we got were great! Kung pao cauliflower was delicious and I recommend it!

Got recommended this place by someone, and we always walk past it. I came to try it out, and it was amazing. One of the best steaks I’ve ever had. Portions were great, prices were reasonable and the staff was friendly. Highly recommend it. Only wish it was a little more secluded from the main gambling hall.

Dinner was just okay. It will be a “one and done” for my husband and I. I had the Chicken Picatta, which was ok. Chicken was overcooked and tough, but the mashed potatoes and veggies were pretty good. My husband had the Pasta Del Mar, which was definitely more pasta than Del Mar. The bread that was brought to the table was just sad. Our server was very pleasant and attentive.

The Bonanza casino is very smoky like all Casinos are when you walk into them but there is a side door that goes directly Toward the restaurant if you choose. The menu was delightful and the special beef is a bit pricey but less than a lot of the steakhouses. Everything we had to eat was delicious, and Leo, our waiter, was so cordial and very friendly we enjoyed our visit immensely.

Outstanding service and great quality food. The Monterey Beef was very well cooked along with the Chicken Marsala.. Veggies were great also. Very ecplanitive for any questions we might have. Reasonable pricing for the outstanding quality service and food. Will be back.. Dress well for this one.
