Excellent dining experience after a day at Carlsbad Caverns! Our server was very attentive and had a great sense of humor. At the time, the restaurant was out of a lot of things, but it didn’t affect my choice, because they had what I wanted anyway. The menu offers very unique and delicious twists on classic food, and I loved it. Good vibe and awesome food!

Stopped here after camping 4 nights at Guadalupe Peak for breakfast. It was a Wednesday morning and not very crowded, which I enjoyed being sat right away with coffee ordered. It is a cool little place off the road towards Carlsbad Caverns. The coffee was hot and hit the spot. The menu was scaled back with only a few options, so we both got the burrito with sausage and the other with chorizo. It is a good sized burrito, but I ate the whole thing. If I come back, it will be the green chili burger.

We were staying at Whites Inn just a street over for our vacation and had the opportunity to eat here one day, and then decided to again the next because it was very good!
The place was small and not crowded for breakfast both days, but we also went less than an hour after they opened in the morning.
The wait staff were all very nice and friendly! They didn’t have chocolate chip pancakes on the menu, I will definitely recommend they consider adding it, but they offered to put some on for my son… it tasted just like a cake! So good!
Everything we had was delicious! My wife had one of their breakfast sandwiches, I had French toast, we had waffles and bacon, and the sausage was very good too! Food was an easy 5*.
The pricing was not bad at all! I think we paid $50? $60 for 4 ppl, which on vacation isn’t bad at all!
The only thing I would say negatively, and it’s not even a bad thing persay… tone down or change whatever they use to sterilize the bathrooms, VERY over powering!

Had a quick lunch at the spot , when visiting the Carlsbad caverns . Had the coffee burger it was really good and the coffee sauce went well with the burger, would recommend the spot

For a small out of the way restaurant, that relies almost entirely on tourists visiting Carlsbad Canyons, this restaurant is surprisingly good! The french fries perfectly cooked. The burger excellent! Enchiladas everything they should be. A great treat if you’ve been living rough for a couple days. Just be warned, they close at 3:00!

Food wasn’t the best but decent for what was offered. If you don’t like runny eggs, order up. Bacon was better than the sausage. Our waitress was great and atmosphere had all the vibes! Would go again for lunch!

Our family highly recommends this restaurant. The wait is well worth it for the delicious food. We ordered four different burgers and the green chili fries, and they were all incredibly flavorful. The staff are exceptionally friendly. It’s a must-visit if you’re passing through or ever in Carlsbad Caverns.

So, I was hoping to give this place solid 4, and maybe a 5 after what I read online and with the pictures. The atmosphere is awesome, and the service was pretty good. I would have said awesome based on the attention of who I think was a manager, but our server seemed like she was having a bad day. As to the food, it was average. The burrito and the rice were bland and pretty dry, almost like they had been sitting under a heat lamp too long. The boys liked the tacos, and the other dad on the trip enjoyed a crisp chicken sandwich and fries with a root beer. I think the more burger and fries was the way to go. Give them a try, because I really think my issue was with my waitress.

Place needs attention from the owners. Was seated but, looked at menu and saw $14 fries and had to leave due to sewer smell. Did not eat here due to smell and prices. Might have stayed due to close proximity to park but the prices were not fair with the smell we would have needed to tolerate. Made the drive back to Carlsbad had a great meal at El Diamante for same/less cost and very glad we did.

We had the burgers and while the patties themselves aren’t special, they make up for it with great toppings and fries! I highly recommend the Truffle Fries! At a place like this near a big tourist attraction I feel like they are in the position to take advantage of people with pricing and options, but I feel like everything was more than fair! Very nice and down-to-earth staff as well!
