While on a road trip from San Antonio to New Orleans we went a little out of our way to stop here. Very glad we took the time for the short detour. The service was excellent food came out quickly and hot. The skirt steak was very flavorful and covered with pickled cactus that was absolutely amazing I highly recommend it.

It’s like going home to family Best food, clean food fresh food, everything we have try has been top notch! Crystal one of the best server’s made a big impact on my family, we went after mom’s funeral to eat, it was so amazing. Then I took the family back two days later and Crystal, waited on us and got everyone’s drinks correct and didn’t ask ! Amazing!!! Then you have Ms. Pearl, she is also amazing! The manager is a wonderful woman, but I’m sorry I can’t spell her name but she will be the first person you see. She welcomes you and you really think your at grandmas house. Everyone that works there is very special and personal with you, and respect your food when they bring it to you. We just love to eat there. I really thank the owner for everything and have the amazing spirit and dedication to keep everyone happy and to be regular. If you come to Seguin, Texas come see and eat there, you will be very happy you did.

I love the name Cactus Bloom Cocina. It’s cute, unique, and fits the place perfectly. The restaurant has this old cafe style that feels really cozy and comfortable. The staff has always been very friendly and welcoming anytime I’ve come, and I felt taken care of from the moment I walked in. The food is where this place really shines. It’s some of the BEST Mexican food I’ve had in New Braunfels. The carne asada especially stood out, it was tender, full of flavor, and clearly made with care. Everything tasted fresh and homemade. You can tell they put a lot of heart into what they do here. It’s a great Mexican spot here and I highly recommend.

Great tortillas ! Soft and fluffy. Chorizo and egg cooked perfectly. Beans are thick and papa’s fried crisp. Green chilie is the best and bacon and egg mixed taco was delicious good coffee too.
