This place is great! Probably my favorite dive bar in the state. Drinks are strong and affordable and bartenders are attentive. Favorite bartender was Will. He did good pours, paid attention but didn’t annoy me and makes good casual conversation when I feel like chatting. Funny guy. Definitely recommend!

Will and the entire team at Cactus bar were incredibly wonderful to work with on a fundraiser event at their bar! With multiple in person meetings, he always showed up and delivered for something that was entirely not for profit! We ended up raising over $1,000 for mental health and suicide prevention, all while his wonderful staff took care of our crew!

Great bar! Always try and stop by when I’m in Boise. Had a corn hole tournament going on while we were there which was a bonus. Good crowd of people every time I’ve been there, great place to meet people if you’re not from the area. Cash only too so you can keep slight better track of how much you’ve drunk, ha!

An older man bought my friend and I a drink, We were uncomfortable and wanted to leave. He chased us out of the bar screaming at us. He was obviously very drunk. The bouncer outside did nothing to help us. The man was filming us on his phone and even grabbed at my friend right in front of him. It was a scary situation and we felt like it could have been avoided if the bouncer had stepped in. Even just saying something or asking if we were okay. we were not. Safety should be the bars priority and we won’t be returning because we know if something were to happen no one would step in to help.
