Cactus bar is such a great spot for meeting up with friends and grabbing a drink! Their new outdoor patio is amazing!! Staff is incredibly friendly and they are even dog friendly. Can’t recommend this spot enough for both locals and Boise visitors.

I had a great time at the Cactus bar!! It was a busy Friday night but all staff knew exactly what to do to serve their customers efficiently. A special shout out to Deborah, the bartender there – she was friendly, made great drinks & she had her routine to a science, even though the place was packed!! Management must be treating their employees right. I will certainly come back to Cactus soon!!

Skyler will make you a fantastic craft cocktail, Jack will make sure you get a large order right on time. Oldest bar in Boise, and it is a locals spot. But, they now have a beautiful backyard and events! Yes everyone should come and see this place. Great atmosphere, the owners are a treat, the drinks are great, and even enjoy some dancing now on the weekends. Come to an event like first Thursday BINGO!!

Stopped in with some friends from Boise who had great stories from the bar over the years. A fun “dive” bar that was clean, had great bartenders and overall good vibes. Should be noted that this is a cash only establishment!
