Went for a double date night. Friday night – not too busy at all. The atmosphere is a lot of fun – the drinks are fantastic. Our server was very nice and attentive. We had a good time. The only reason for the 4 star review was that the sandwiches were just ok – nothing great. Our husband’s loved their pasta and appetizers… wait, I’m going to change it back to 5 stars because the lemon dessert was the highlight of the whole night! It was pretty pricey so may not come here too often but it was good.

The food and service are always amazing. The most delicious gluten-free Olive Bread. We love to dine, with friends & family, at Cacciatore at Heller’s Kitchen Windsor. We were very impressed when a server, not assigned to our table. , greeted us when we were seated because our server was busy at another table. We appreciated the attention, and service, well we were waiting for our assigned server.

Great Italian place! On our first visit, it was hard to tell for sure if we had the right place because there are no signs I could see from the street. We parked on the street since there isn’t a parking lot for the restaurant. The restaurant is inside The Windsor Mill and there is a small sign on the door to let you know you have the right place. The staff was great and we were seated right away at a table next to the fireplace in the back. They have a nice wine list and a few beers to choose from, but I don’t expect a large beer menu at an Italian place. When the salads came, they were really small and served on a very large plate; I thought it was strange. Be aware, they serve anchovy on the Caesar salad, which wasn’t my favorite thing. They brought a loaf of bread with olive oil to snack on while waiting for the entrees.

Our server was just awesome! We were a huge party with no reservation and they prepared our table and took us as soon as they could. The drinks were delicious . The food was really good too. I got the potato gnocchi. it had a rich amazing sauce. My only complaint was that there was more chicken than gnocchi in the dish in my opinion. But I 10/10 would recommend this place and definitely will be back! Our service was 5 star and every employee was working very efficiently and was very attentive to our huge party!

Cacciatore at Heller’s Kitchen is an amazing local gem! The food, service, atmosphere and overall experience is top notch! Worth the drive if you do not live in Windsor, and I would also highly recommend checking out the Chef’s table experience. They also have a beautiful large room for events, parties, meetings, etc.

Stopped by this place for the first time last week while visiting a client of mine (Betta Gumbo). The whole experience exceeded my expectations and I have been dying to go back since. The drink special was refreshing, the food was phenomenal, and the staff (Chad & Andrea) were nothing but superb.

Awesome spot for a delicious dinner that goes beyond your typical Italian place. Food was excellent, fresh, large portions and so flavorful. Nice selection of choices. Our Server, Hunter was fantastic. Best service at a local restaurant in awhile. He was always smiling, super friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. He made some excellent recommendations, including the spicy mozzarella sticks! Hostess and bus boy were very friendly and helpful as well. Great job on awesome staff! The dessert was delicious. The tiramusu and creme brulee were divine. Great atmosphere and very clean. Will definitely add this to our list of regular spots!
