Will definitely come back
Fajitas, fajitas and fajitas. Cabrera’s has the absolute best fajitas and servers. Look at my photo. Tony and Abby were very helpful. We went in at 7:30 and all the tables were filled. The food is excellent and the employees are curious and friendly.
You will love Cabrera’s!
Update 8/27/24
Thank you Christian and Tony for the recommendation of the Parrillada Cielo Mar Y Tierra. This delicious monster dish can feed 3 adults. Look at my photos. Wow, it was a roller coaster of flavors that I have never had served together. It comes with Grilled salmon, breaded fish, garlic shrimp, carne asada, grilled chorizo, charbroiled chicken breast, melted cheese, cactus and 2 crab & shrimp enchiladas.
Everything was outstanding. The crab and shrimp enchiladas were very unique. I have never had grilled chorizo served like this. What really topped everything is that all this was served on a bed of veggies that we made fajita style tacos from. The butter and jumbo shrimp looked like artwork. The very thick and full of flavor Cheese plate added a creamy fullness between the multiple main dishes.
Yes, what I can say is the presentation of the Parrilla Cielo, Mar and Tierra is a work of art. Oh, that translates to Sky, Sea and Earth.
We can really recommend this Parrillada plate. Everything was delicious. We kept on going back and fourth trying the different flavors.

Cabrera’s Mexican cuisine is jewel in the Pasadena. This was our first-time visiting Cabrera’s. Marcela was our waitress who brought over one of the most delicious hot sauces that I have ever has. Please look at my picture o the Cabrera’s Hot Sauce.
We went with the Chicken Fajitas and Chicken burrito. The Chicken Fajitas are surrounded with veggies on a HOT plate with sides of beans, rice, sour cream and guacamole. Look at my photos. When Marcela brought the dish I was shocked. The dish is large, steamy and delicious. The presentation of the food is as good at the taste. The chicken Burrito was cheesy and full of flavor. My girlfriend has to take half home.
Marcela recommended the Flan and we decided to try it. My girlfriend said that it was the most delicious flan that she has ever had. The consistency is that of cheesecake with the orange sauce was that incredible. LOOK at the photos of the cake. Marcela shared that come to get the flan. They have a large flan (cake size) available for parties and special occasions which is very popular.
Cabrera’s is absolutely delicious! YOU will LOVE IT!
Unfortunately, after we were seated, we didn’t see anyone for 15 min. I finally had to waive someone down and ask who or waiter was. Someone did come over about a min after that and apologized and took our order. Drinks took about another 5 minutes to show up. So we were 20 min in before we saw drinks and chips. We liked the presentation of the drinks, we didn’t like the mix they used for our margarita on the rocks. They were hard to drink. My nephew really like the horchata.
Food arrived about 18 min after we ordered it. Which I think was fast because we received food faster than some tables who ordered before us. The food was good. I had the fish tacos. The tacos could have used a little more sauce but were nice and hot.
We never did get our chips refilled. It took quite a while for me to get water after I asked for it. My son had his food finished before I ever got my water. No one ever came back to check on us to see how the food was or if we needed anything else. We weren’t even hidden in a corner. I don’t know what went wrong for us, other tables looked like their waiters were more attentive.
The main reason I am giving my rating is because of the service. They were friendly, I just don’t think it was enough. You can’t be forgetting your guests. We even overheard someone else complaining about their food taking too long to come out. It was a table who ordered before us.
