Our waitresses was awesome! She was helpful with food suggestions as well as what is around to see. We were traveling through VA. and had many questions. The food was tasty. We especially enjoyed the salsa and chips.

Being in Blacksburg, VA I wasn’t sure what the fish tacos would be like – turns out they were excellent! They were unique as they used flour tortillas instead of corn which brought an interesting twist. Margaritas were top notch as well. The family enjoyed their quesadillas and vegetarian burritos. Service prompt, and the bartender is very knowledgeable and gave me several recommendations. Will definitely come back next time we’re at VT!

Best fish tacos in all of the NRV! My lunch there was incredible. The Lemon pepper tuna taco, fried flounder taco & bang bang shrimp taco + the bang bang shrimp appetizer are must tries!!!!! 10/10 the food is very fresh I love their salsa and chips too

Food atmosphere, generous portions and huge margaritas. I ordered the lemon grilled shrimp tacos they were delicious. Also tasted the soy ginger glazed tacos and they were even better.

We are Blacksburg locals and our family had dinner here on Saturday evening 11/29. Our server, Sarah, was very sweet & friendly, she was very knowledgeable with the menu and drink specials. We all enjoyed our dishes and I especially loved the salmon tacos and queso dip! Thank you for the great service, Sarah!!

Stopped by for an early dinner on Sunday. It was not crowded at all and service was good. It can get a little crazy during “peak” hours. We ordered the Thai Chilli Tofu tacos. They were very good. The cheddar jalapeño mash is also a crowd pleaser. Chips and salsa are tasty. We didn’t get drinks, but they did have specials. Highly recommend this place for a tasty taco fix.

Amazing fish tacos. I got beer battered white fish and buffalo shrimp taco. My sides were avocado pasta salad and jalapeno cheddar mashed potato. Jalapeño cheddar mashed potatoes and both the tacos were delicious. Price wise it’s really good quality.

This place could do better. Couple of reasons for this rating. Let me start by saying service was very attentive and fast, much better than other places in this college town. That was the positive. The negatives: the tortillas chips were way too salty, maybe we got a bad batch but on the other end the battered fish tacos did not have any salt at all! The fish on those tacos was tasteless. And so were the rice and beans, similar thing. I also agree with another reviewer, too much corn in all the accompaniments, no need for that since corn is already in some tortillas and in some main dishes. The Mahi Mahi tacos were decent enough and so were the fried plantains. I know we only tried few dishes but being the first time in this place it just leaves a disappointing experience. While it seems this is a popular place and with good reviews, they could be more consistent with their menu.

My all-time favorite Blacksburg restaurant (and maybe anywhere?). Great atmosphere both inside and outside. My favorite is the lemon grilled shrimp tacos. Delicious sides (avocado pasta salad, jalapeño cheddar mashers, modelo refried beans…). Also really good margs! Worth the wait every time.
