first of all, the vibe in here is amazing. but the food??? wow it was amazing!! went here to celebrate my partner and i’s anniversary and the food was just so delicious. everything was perfect and the service was incredible our waitress interacted with us and talked to us. this place was very welcoming and i recommend it 100%

First of all I was shocked when I walked in. The place is beautiful inside! The wait staff was very friendly. We ordered canastas (shrimp and crab in little plantain bowls with creamy chipotle sauce over rice) and bacon wrapped shrimp. It was all delish! Then after I saw another table get drinks we ordered margaritas. I’m picky about my margaritas on the rocks and these were superb! And the bill for everything was $41 which I thought was very reasonable. We definitely will be back!

Only 3 other tables before us waiting for their food. We had a 45-minute wait for calamari appetizer, had to get up and go ask for limes myself. No, the calamari is not freshly made. Staff were just standing around on their phones. 55 minutes for dish to come out chilled, only utensil offered was a fork. Needed at least a butterknife to cut the shrimp, which were a bit tough.

My wife and I have had dinner at Cabo Bar and Grill three times recently and it has become our favorite restaurant in the area. The food is unique, delicious and reasonably priced . The staff are friendly, and the atmosphere is clean and comfortable. We also appreciate that the noise level is very reasonable and conducive for conversation. We appreciate the effort that the owners are making in the restaurant. We wish them great success.

Dropped by for drinks and appetizers. The ambiance is upscale casual. We were dressed comfortably in jeans and there was a group of bikers there as well. Everyone seemed to be having a good time hanging out with friends. The hostess greeted us warmly upon arrival and was kind enough to offer suggestions on the appetizers. The calamari was perfectly crisp and delicious, served with 2 dipping sauces. The shrimp floritas are like fried flour tortilla roll-ups for adults and they were crispy, creamy and full of flavor. The cabbage and dressing served with it was so good I spooned it up! We also had the fish tacos and they were tasty and refreshing; the corn tortillas were soft but not greasy. We had beers with our dinner so we’ll try the cocktails next time. Overall, great service, delicious food, and a casual atmosphere. We will return again soon!

We had a really large group. 90+ people on a Friday afternoon. The service was fast. The drinks came out quickly and were on point. Every single person loved the food. The Cali rolls were absolutely delicious and while I didn’t have anything else everyone told me their individual plates were perfect and well timed. Thanks Gary and staff for pulling off such a tremendous feat!

We happened upon this bar one night and let me me tell you, it was one of the best dumb luck shines of my life!! Not only is the ambiance of this restaurant so chill n comfortable n chic, but it has the vibe n decor to match the highest class of spots to be at!

The food here is OMG delicious! Whoever they got for a chef is on point! I’m talking great presentation on top of absolutely delicious food!! The shrimp is clean and fresh and I don’t care how you get it, it’s off the hook! Love the Cabo Wabo sauce!!
It gets better…the prices are so unbelievably reasonable, maybe a little low, for the quality of food and tastiness and environment in this place. This place rivals the Wolfgang Puck restaurant we went to in Vegas. The appetizers are above par and of perfect proportions.
I literally have no complaints. We travel for work and have eaten in all kinds of classy joints across the country and this is definitely one of my favorites of all times. We are from Arkansas so this isn’t just, I know these people reviews. I literally wanted to RAVE about how sweet a spot this is!!!

Iconic place in San Antonio now located back home in Harlingen! How I miss the club nights with multiple DJs and drinks.
The Food is amazing, the atmosphere is just as Amazing, and the owners are very cool.

My visit started out poorly, nice welcome but poor service. Slow waiting on table, and then it still took over ten minutes to get the margaritas we ordered and only then because I went to the bar myself because I could not find my waitress. After that, service picked up. Drinks were timely (and priced right – $3 Happy Hour Margarita); food was great (and also priced right – $9.95 for shrimp). Our visit ended well and raised evaluation from one to four stars.
