Customer service could be improved. When I checked out, there was no acknowledgment or thank you after tipping, and the cashier continued conversations with staff without engaging. Upon entering with my daughter, the atmosphere felt unwelcoming. The food was decent but nothing memorable—overall, you get what you pay for.

A friend recommended Cable Car to us. Great value for food. Comfortable seating and really good service. And added plus is they dont have nuts in their menu so I feel safe eating here with my nut allergies. This is definitely going to be on our breakfast/lunch rotation.

This place was recommended to me by a coworker and I decided to give it a shot after work. Upon arrival, I was greeted by one of their friendly and welcoming staffs, it was early so it was not too packed. Their menu is simple and straightforward, I was really hungry at the time. Everything is made to order which I did not mind the wait since I’m a very patient person. A lot of locals come to this place which is a good sign and they have been in business for over 30 years which is rare nowadays for classic joints like this one. Also they open 6 days a week from 0700 hours to 1430 hours and closed on Tuesdays. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great place for breakfast or just a laid back spot. I definitely will be back to try out the different items they have to offer.

My husband and I went there a few times. We’re reserved people, but the server constantly tried to make conversation by asking very personal questions, and even judged me for still being a student.
Because we really liked the food, when my mother came from Brazil to visit us, this was the first place we took her to eat. Unfortunately, once again the same server behaved inappropriately and decided it was acceptable to suggest that my husband had been at the cafe the previous week with another woman who was not me.
This created a terrible and very uncomfortable situation. That is absolutely not something to say in front of my mother, even if it were true.
The food is great, but it’s not worth the service. We won’t be coming back.

100 % RECOMMENDED! The service is excellent, friendly and helpful. We came because I ask Julio from the Fox Car rental were I can have a good Cornbeef Hash and he recommended Cable Car Cafe. Was so worth it . My wife had scramble eggs with bacon and hash brown. The server that I think is the owners is so friendly, thank you for taking care of us! You need to try a fresh squeezed orange juice

This place was ok. We went as we were staying down the street it was convenient. Service was fast. Plenty of food. I got eggs Benedict. The sauce did not taste homemade at all. I was disappointed. But my boyfriend loved his omlette. It was as big as the plate plenty of ingredients inside of the omlett. The decor was fun. I wish I had taken more pictures. O would go again just now for eggs Benedict.

Small quiet area with neighborhood or metered parking. Older style diner atmosphere. I ordered the “Pancake Special” for $9.75 which is fairly cheap in cost. The special had 2 Pancakes, 1 egg and 2 pieces of bacon. No complaints about the food, it was a quick stop and quick bite for food which did its job. The service and fast and attentive.
My cousin ordered the “Cable Car Ommlette” which had beef, mushrooms, onions, bell peppers and swiss cheese. Was a large portion for $13, worth the cost. Filled with ingredients to the point of it bursting. (No photo unfortately)
