Stopped in for dinner, while working in the area. Our server was great. Very attentive and helpful. She didn’t miss a thing. We had the ham and cheese on pretzel with fries and the chicken quesadilla. The fries were great. The ham and cheese was pretty good. I expected the quesadilla to be grilled chicken with onions and peppers (fajita style). It was more like chicken taco crockpot meat, with very little onion and pepper. It didn’t taste bad, but it should maybe say that it’s shredded taco meat in the description. I wouldn’t have ordered that. I’d give it another shot, but try something else. Again, service was on point. Plus, they have a full bar, lots of tvs, Coke products, and Keno!

Service was fantastic! The food was cooked wonderfully and in great portions for the price. He had a wet burrito with chicken. Ground chicken was used which he wasn’t a fan of, but said it was still remarkable. We also ordered deep fried green beans. They were cooked very well however, it would have been great to have a bit more flavor added to the breading (seasonings). I had the fried pollock with French fries and coleslaw. The fish was cooked well done per my request and was delicious. The fries were crispy and the tar tar sauce was on point (if you like the tangy zip of miracle whip!). I was not a fan of the coleslaw. It tasted like the store bought jug one buys in large quantities. Overall, the food was absolutely worth it, the service was five star, and their drink selection is phenomenal as well, though we did not partake.

Love this spot. Every time we go to Northwoods or franks we stop by. Never had a bad meal. The fish and fries are generous in portions and taste fantastic. Staff are very attentive and nice! Also love the fish tank behind the bar.

DEEE-Licious!! Three of us stopped in for lunch. We ordered the French Dip, the Mac&Cheese and the Rodeo Chicken wrap and all of it was really good! The bread for the French dip was soo soft. The mac&cheese was creamy and cheesy. None of us could finish our meal. Our server was awesome! If you’re in the area stop in for some great eats!

I stopped here on my way back to Lansing for a quick dinner, and. I really couldn’t have chosen better. The restaurant itself is gorgeous, very on theme, very cozy. I was not expecting such a phenomenal selection of local craft beers on tap, but I was pleasantly surprised. They had some more obscure options and one of my favorites. The liquor selection was on point as well, it’s rare I see a whistle pig or gentleman jack on hand, if only I wasn’t driving. Now on to the food I had the fried green beans, which were still perfectly crisp after being fried and not overly breaded. Also the beef philly was delicious, cheesy, but not soggy perfectly cooked steak, peppers, and onions. I got cheesecake to go and on looks alone I may be making a 2 hour drive for more. Finally the service was impeccable, attentive but not annoying and genuinely friendly. The ladies working the evening of 11/23 are quite possibly the best servers I’ve ever had, their recommendations were on point and they made the experience that was already great absolutely perfect. I cannot wait to be back on the area again so I can come back to The Cabin.

Have to leave only 3 stars. Ended up just having a beer and leaving. Staff was awesome, but nothing jumped put at me on the menu. As such, not rating food, 3 stars is max I can give. Maybe something jumps out for you? Beer selection was awesome.
