Hell yea, absolutely delicious and fantastic.
Fresh cut fries right in front of you on the edge of deep creek.
The guy at the front was kind and patient.
We ordered fries which were perfectly salted and hot.
Chicken tenders, love the light seasoning in the batter – so crispy.
And a smash burger which I didn’t really have much of bc my bf ATE IT ALL. The sauce on the burger was good tho, had a little on a fry.
Must check it out.

First thing first just order the crabby fries.
This place is great. Not only does it have an incredible view of the lake it serves up some great fresh food. A bunch of us ordered the crabby hush puppies, crabby fries, bacon wrapped hotdog, cheesesteak egg rolls and the Mac and cheese. Everything was excellent we could not stop talking about how good it was. The crabby fries were next level and a definite must have. Friendly service too and all the food came out in less than 15 min. Will always come back here the next time I’m here.

Stopped by the Cabin Lodge Grill on a whim Sunday afternoon and what a treat it was! We were famished after spending a few hours in Swallow Falls State Park, and wanted to grab something to eat.
We had the cheesesteak eggrolls, mac and cheese, veggie burger, French fries and two bottled drinks for $40. It may seem pricey for a roadside grill however the food was absolutely incredible. The veggie burger blew me away, making up for a terrible one I had the night before at Ace’s Run. It was crispy, seasoned well and had different vegetables inside without anything overwhelming the flavor. And the French fries… holy smokes! They were so good. Nice and brown, perfect amount of salt and a huge portion for only $5. The cheesesteak eggrolls were unique and definitely something we will try to recreate at home.

Basically a stationary food truck, but our chicken sandwiches were quite good. We got the Nashville Hot version, and although it was good, the amount of sauce was rather overwhelming. Asking for a smaller amount, or getting it on the side to add as you see fit, would be better options. Nice view of the lake, with several picnic tables available.

The food here is AMAZING! The Nashville hot chicken sandwich is outstanding and the crab cheese fries were fantastic. The view from the tables out back looking over the lake are wonderful as well. If you are here visiting in town, you definitely need to check this place out!

(2022)Update 3 stars – Visited again during peak season at the lake(June), and the food was not as good as last time during off season(Sept). The tenders were over cooked and a bit tough, but the shrimp wrap is still good tho.

We stopped for lunch at Cabin Lodge Grill and got crab fries, chicken tenders, and a Nashville Chicken Sandwich. Our service was friendly and fast. While we waited for food we noticed there were a few things we could do while we waited. We could’ve looked out to the lake which provides a fantastic view, we could’ve also gotten ice cream, donuts, or shopped, all things which were feet away from this establishment. We got our food fast and it was delicious. You can’t beat food and a view like this!

Stopped here for lunch today and ordered a smashburger and some fries and I must say these are some of the best fries I’ve had in a long time! The burger was seasoned and cooked perfectly! The man running the grill was very nice. This is an amazing place to stop at for great food and a great view of the lake. 10/10 definitely recommend everyone stops here.

We stopped for lunch today while driving through. Loved the food! Had Nashville Chicken sandwich and Crab hush puppies! Yum! Fresh sandwich bun was the best. Only heads up I’d pass along…this is a walk up and order place. Seating is available nearby, but it’s not a sit down place. We were there in the rain and ended up eating in our car. I probably missed that in the reviews…so I was surprised. But I’d go back nevertheless!
