Classic smoked meats & sides plus veggie options dished up in an unpretentious roadside joint.

Love the BBQ here. As a southerner, it has to be good and Cabin Creek doesn’t disappoint. Make sure you pick up some beans!

Planning a wedding is stressful, and from the second we met Christi, I knew we’d found our caterer. She made me feel at ease, helped me with details of planning (like a timeline for the reception and a place to rent linens) that I hadn’t even thought of yet. She treated us like we were special, and I left our first meeting feeling comfortable that I didn’t need to worry about the catering, and that she’d take care of us. And more importantly, she delivered on that promise! The team was very easy to work with, super professional, timely, and just overall wonderful. The food was amazing– our guests raved about it! The staff was friendly and helpful. We couldn’t have asked for a better caterer! I highly recommend Cabin Creek if you ever need catering!

We just stopped here on our way through the mountains, this place is great! The food is just wonderful, and the meat is tender and juicy! Talked with the people there, the meat is smoked 24 hrs, and all the bbq sauces are made in house. If you want some place fancy, this isn’t for you. But if you want great food on an open porch enjoying the scenery, this place is a must!

We chose Cabin Creek Smokehouse to cater our wedding in October 2015. We started with sampling the food at their restaurant in Conifer. We were treated to full-sized samples of everything, and even had leftovers to bring home. We thought the food was excellent, and very reasonably priced. We were so impressed that Cabin Creek was the only vendor where we didn’t bother doing a comparison with a competitor. The food was so good, and the price was great, that there was no need to compare! Cabin Creek took care of all the setup and teardown. It was buffet-style, but the bride and groom get served their plate, and have a plate of appetizers prepared and set aside for a late-night snack. They really took care of all the details and we didn’t have to worry about a thing. We received lots of compliments on the food from our guests, including the Texas BBQ aficionados of the group. Receiving praise for the food at a wedding is the ultimate compliment, and I can’t say enough positive things about it!

Have some unique dishes to add BBQ meats and such to. Had the Mac attack with brisket and was good but not totally sold on their smoked meats. I’ve had much better elsewhere. The BF had the sloppy Jose with pork and brisket and the pork was little more than pulled with not a lot of Smokey flavor. Don’t get me wrong, I thought it was good and worth a try but was also unimpressed with dining facilities. Expected a sit down place and while there is a dining side with tables it’s not a restaurant.

We used Cabin Creek Smokehouse for our Wedding in May 2017. They were excellent from start to finish. We had a great tasting and Christi (the owner) walked us patiently through all the options. As the wedding approached, Christi’s catering and wedding experience was a big help to us and helped us figure out many details. On the wedding day, everything went great and the food was of course delicious. Christi and her team really know what they are doing. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to do BBQ for their wedding.

Ok food. My chicken was fully cooked, but cold. Several sauces to try. Friendly counter service. Dining area is totally separate from ordering area- must go outside to travel between the two. Definitely will not return.

We bought a wide sampling of their offerings to see how they were, but were unfortunately disappointed. The meat didn’t taste very good, the seasoning wasn’t great, and the chicken was dry.
If you have the extra time, I recommend Switchback Smokehouse over in Kittredge instead.

First time there…with family from the area. Great food and friendly service.
The pulled pork sandwich was so tender and delicious, it didn’t even need any sauce.
Can’t wait to go back!
