Whether you are a craft beer aficionado or just looking for a cozy spot to hang out, Cabin Boys Brewery has solidified itself as one of Tulsa’s premier social hubs. With two distinct locations—the original production taproom in the Kendall Whittier District and the newer brewpub in the Arts District—they offer a “crafted for community” vibe that is hard to beat.

The Downtown Brewpub (223 N Main St): Located in the heart of the Arts District, this spot is more polished and food-focused. It features a cozy fireplace, a string-lit patio, and a massive 30-tap system. It’s the perfect pre-show destination if you’re heading to a concert at Cain’s Ballroom or the Tulsa Theater.

The Beer: European Tradition with an Oklahoma Twist

The brewing philosophy here seems to lean toward traditional European styles (especially Belgian and German), often with unique twists on the traditional styles. I’ve known about CB for some time now and they’ve stepped up their game from the mom and pop shop they were when I was introduced to them. The available beers are great examples of their various styles and unique enough to warrant a try.

Bearded Theologian (Belgian Quad): Their heavy-hitter. At 8.4% ABV, it’s a rich, complex ale with deep notes of caramel, raisins, and a hint of cinnamon. It’s famously described as a beer to enjoy with “a pipe and a good book.”

Cast-A-Line (Kölsch): For those who want something lighter, this crisp, German-style ale offers refreshing notes of lemongrass, pear, and biscuit. It’s highly drinkable and a local summer favorite.

Goin’ Stag (Belgian Single): A multi-award winner at the Great American Beer Festival, this “crushable” ale features subtle Belgian spices and fruity esters.

918 Cerveza: The official beer of FC Tulsa, this Mexican-style lager is light, dry, and brewed with flaked corn—perfect for a sunny afternoon on the patio.

The Food & Partnerships

Cabin Boys is known for collaborating with local culinary talent. In 2025, the Downtown Brewpub’s kitchen has been famously hosted by LeRoux’s Kitchen, serving up authentic Cajun and Louisiana-inspired dishes like gumbo and po’boys. LeRoux’s is fantastic. Things are made to order, no fast food so there may be a wait. I really enjoyed the food. CB could do far worse than putting these guys on a long term contract for the fried zuccini alone. =)

Lots of Non-Alcoholic Options: They are one of the better breweries for inclusive drinking, offering draft mocktails, sodas, and “Sparky” lemonades.

My Take:

Go if: You value variety and a welcoming atmosphere. It is equally suited for a Saturday afternoon with the kids and dogs or a Friday night out with friends.

There’s really no reason to skip this place. Lots to do for everyone and there is something on the board for everyone. Great place to visit before a show.

One of the best breweries you could visit in Tulsa. Delicious and creative beers, memorable cocktails, and a wonderful staff. We especially want to shout out Preston – simply fabulous. He cares about the beers being created and makes you feel welcomed the moment you walk in the door. I highly recommend visiting Cabin Boys Brewpub.

This review is less about the brewery but I had to say something about the food side of the house, LeBeaux Kitchen. I ended my primary school years in Louisiana, and since leaving that state have been profoundly disappointed in cabin food anywhere else… Until today when I had LeBeaux’s gumbo. Not just rivals, but hands down beats any gumbo I had on Bourbon Street or any shanty on the bayou. Everything served you could tell was from someone who loved food. Never thought that I would say Best Cajun food and Tulsa in the same sentence, but there ya go. Don’t miss this place… And the beer was pretty good too.

This place has a great staff and AMAZING food!! I went previously and tried the grilled cheese and tomato soup and it was delicious! I unfortunately didn’t get any pictures I was so hungry . As for this trip I got the cheese curds and the s’mores cast iron cookie and BOY oh Boy was this just what I needed. I personally thought the curds were just a hair too salty but the ranch eased the salt and the flavors were immaculate. As for the cookie it was sweet and decadent I definitely would recommend it on a colder day and or if you got a sweet tooth!! Once again I didn’t get a picture however it was very beautiful and was topped with marshmallows and crushed graham crackers!

Excited to make a reel for this place on insta! First visit definitely won’t be the last. Food was delicious and hot. The apple cider margarita is amazing, and I don’t like margaritas! Do yourself a favor and try it. We enjoyed battleship and connect 4 with our little girl while we waited. Atmosphere was relaxed and inviting. Friendly staff and cute set up. Simple, but very thought out decor and seating. Space between tables was nice, but close enough to enjoy a group. Can’t wait to come back.

Here visiting as a Tulsa Remote Guest (from Houston). We came here straight from the airport. Immediately greeted with friendly and helpful staff. Great place to find as my first visit to OK. Bartender allowed us to try to the brews and had great recommendations.

First time visit from Canada. Great staff, food and beer. Preston was awesome. He knew his beer and how to mix cocktails. The mac and cheese was probably the best I’ve ever had. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful dining experience. The food was excellent but even better was the friendly, knowledgeable, and upbeat employees. They, along with a wonderful aesthetic made for a delightful find that I can’t wait to visit again.
Thanks Nico for a great beer recommendation, and canning a few for home. (Also this particular beer releases around Halloween and is only available through April, so go now if you already love it or would like to try it)

It’s amazing to enjoy the high-quality brews Cabin Boys puts out, and they are just as good at making food! Are you tired of waiting in line at a food truck and then have to go get your beer? Do it all in one go inside a very nice updated brewpub setting with spacious seating and TVs to watch the game. Did you enjoy a few too many tasty beers? Wash em down with the amazing cheese curds and wings, then you’re good to go. Great location, amazing staff, and the hours of operation are fantastic. Go up and see for yourself. Drink responsibly and get the curds.

This was my first time trying the food and it was delicious! I got the fried chicken sandwich and my sister tried the schnitzel sandwich. We both really liked the house made chips too. We were planning to sit awhile and the staff was so nice and helpful. We stayed right up until closing. I also had the McNellie’s red
