This is my favorite ice cream place in all of St Joe. The staff there is very friendly. I love the banana pudding ice cream.

Lots of variety in terms of ice cream. Something I don’t see much was soft serve option of tons of flavors.
Few seating options inside. great place to stop by in summer or late night treat
Plenty of parking in the area

Extraordinary ice cream shop with plenty of seating and a welcoming interior. Line moves quickly despite the large volume of people typically in the store. Flavors are truly one-of-a-kind; I was able to try carrot cake ice cream for the first time and was blown away by the taste and consistency. Prices are quite fair for the giant scoops they give you. Perfect place to get a cold treat in the summer.

BEST ICE CREAM SHOP IN TOWN! Their ice cream is not too sweet and they have so many choices including candies and non dairy ice cream. Interior is so cute and fair price. Nice atmosphere with friendly workers.

I had an absolute blast while getting ice cream from cabanas, not only are the staff incredibly friendly, they are also super helpful and easy going. I had the pleasure of being served by the one and only Braxton Black. I would absolutely recommend coming back for a sweet treat!!!

If you want decent ice cream with a great atmosphere this is your place. The prices are reasonable and the portions are large. Unfortunately I’ve been going to Kilwins for the last 5 years. Go to kilwins if you want a handmade waffle cone, otherwise go to cabanas for bigger portions at a cheaper price.
Unfortunately, I had to update this review because I keep coming back here to get gelato , it’s been four or five times now and they still have yet to have any, but they advertise it all over the walls.

Everything is perfect except for the staff. There’s disorganized staff that likes to stop and chat about life and just stand around while there’s a long line of people. So frustrating that they don’t pay attention to the customers especially when it’s busy. They spend more time laughing and talking to each other than serving their customers. Someone needs to train them better about being focused and professional. Everything else with ice cream and food is excellent. Atmosphere great!

I walked in as they were closing. I feel 8 pm when the sunset is at 7:45 is a bit early to close. But I made it. The ice cream was smooth, creamy, delish! I had the hard serve as soft serve was not available. Premium ice cream for sure. Fantastic! Staff was nice and friendly. Place is clean and welcoming. Would recommend!

I would love to give this place a better review because St Joe’s is such a great town to visit my family. Went for ice cream last Saturday during the car show, I ordered lavender honey. Lavender is one of my favorite flavors so of course I had to try it. Well there was absolutely NO lavender flavor in this ice cream. After taking 2 bites I did go back and ask if it was just lavender color or was it supposed to have lavender flavor. The young girl asked a young man and he said lavender flavor. I replied there was absolutely non, could I get a scoop of a different flavor since it just tasted like vanilla. He said no, and that was it. Absolutely NO customer service! Didn’t care if the ice cream didn’t taste like it was supposed to. As a former business owner I would have gladly given a scoop to make a happy customer. Maybe educate your employees on good service.

Visited on a Saturday in July and the line was outside but went quickly, no available seating but we took our ice creams to a bench closer to the beach. Their soft serve wasn’t available when we were there, I’m hoping that next time we visit we can try it because their menu board had some crazy flavors.
Quickly learned that just because we are adults does not mean we need the larger size cones neither of us could finish but everything was so good. Worth the mess of a huge ice cream cone on a hot July day.
