Had a great time at the bar and lounge… It sits upstairs from the restaurant. I had a great time here. The food, service, and environment was great. It kind of made you forget that you were in Boston. Maybe it was our lucky night but our table was attended to by Ellie, Abby, and Luisa. I don’t think the experience would have been the same without their friendly and attentive personalities.

We started with tostones con tocino y guacamole: The tostones and tocino(more like chicharrones than bacon in my opinion) were both cooked perfectly, and the guac was good. I felt like it was lacking an X-factor, some sort of sauce or added flavor. Don’t get me wrong though they were great.
Next are the pupusas, oh my god I don’t know where to start. I got mine without cheese and it was still absolutely delicious. Even with nothing on them they’re amazing, but with the added coleslaw and sauce they’re godly. I would come back just for those alone.
We got a chicken enchilada which was savory and well seasoned, delicious overall. Then finally the shrimp tacos. In my opinion they were pretty dry. The flavors were good but the shrimp itself was dry and there was a lot of it, the double tortilla wrap didn’t help.
Overall it was a great experience here and I’ll definitely be back for more pupusas and to try other dishes.

IT’S UPSTAIRS!!!
We almost didn’t go in because we thought it was just a restaurant as it appeared downstairs, but there is a bar upstairs with additional seating to eat as well.
The way the bartender prepared the drinks and presented them was phenomenal.

The pupusas were not good at all! They used to be delicious. I called and ask what changed. They said they recently got a new chef. What a big mistake! Hardly any filling. Absolutely no cheese in them. No taste. I was disappointed.

The waitresses’ behavior was completely disrespectful towards the customers. They were dancing obscenely. Then they turned the music up to an unbearable volume, giving everyone a headache and making it impossible to talk. They forgot our food. The waitresses were drunk, drinking and dancing during working hours and in front of everyone. What a nice place, too bad about the service. Absolutely terrible.
