Great burger, they also had probably the best gluten free bun that I have ever tried, and I have had a lot. Not sure which brand it is, but It was delicious and not anything like a gluten free bun.
I would come back just for that alone.
Staff was friendly and helpful.

Trying to be too many things and lost the casual vibe in the process and $4 upcharge for fries with your burger!!???…
Went for the first time in nearly a year. Cabana used to be my favorite alternative to the Tattooed Moose, but judging by the prices and new menu options, it looks like they are trying to pivot into an upscale burger joint. Raising prices is fine and totally understandable. That said, eliminating the happy hour menu and cutting some of the original and more affordable options feels like a misstep.
Ultimately, my suggestion to management would be to pick a lane. Either be a quick and casual burger spot with craft beers and milkshakes, or lean fully into the upscale concept, but do not try to be both. Johns Island already has plenty of overpriced restaurants.

Truly thoughtful food and bev. The new mozz & marinara and coconut shrimp are consistently delicious. The parm ranch dipping sauce that comes with the tenders (also the bomb) is a welcome new expression of flavor. Hats off to the chef!
Updated decor is more sophisticated and warm. Love sitting at the bar but the design of the barstools fatigues my legs after 20 min. Adding a small cushion would change my world. Otherwise, keep it up guys!

The food was honestly very delicious, but I have never left a restaurant so frustrated with the staff in all of my life. Absolutely rude. Both the waitress and the woman that brought our food looked pissed to be there. They forgot an entire meal at our table, we waited and waited for it and finally told the rest of the table to eat. Our food came as they were finishing up. I asked for a condiment, she gave me a nearly empty container. Then was so annoyed when we used it all and asked for more. We waited for ages for the check, I went to the front to try to get her attention. Purse in hand, I stood at the counter. She looked dead at me and walked on by. Multiple times. I finally sat back down at my table. She continued to ignore my obvious attempts to catch her attention. I was FUMING at this point. I was ready to walk out. We finally got paid and left. There is so much potential for this restaurant. The atmosphere is fun and the food is actually very delicious! But this service is enough to make me NEVER want to come back.

Ordered a burger TOGO when I got home there was a dead fly in my box under all of my fries. I didn’t relize until I got to almost the bottom. That is disgusting. Thankfully I called and they can refund the burger but after that experience I won’t ever go back. That is careless and absolutely disgusting.

Update: New owner. Seems very nice. Suggest getting rid of fountain tea and brew tea. Its the south. A lot of people get sick on the fountain tea. Love the 2n2 deal!! Dressing on the salad with cranberries needs to be different. Its very bitter and pungent. Maybe a Raspberry Walnut..
