I have been to Cabana Blue several times since they’ve opened, and the main highlights are the gorgeous lake views, live band entertainment, and their cocktails. During the night of my most recent visit, I realized that the kinks that I thought were from when they first opened, have clearly not been worked out as they’ve grown popularity. I really want to like this place, and I’m glad they are busy, but unfortunately their parking lot is not suffice for their volume of summer/boating traffic and the wait times for higher priced, subpar food does not make it worth the almost 40 minute drive for me. Our quoted wait time was 35 minutes, which turned into 1 hr 10 minutes. Once we were seated, I ordered the Cayla Club (my friends ordered wraps as well) and our food took over an hour to come out. Mine was supposed to come with avocado, which it did not have, and at this point our waitress hadn’t come back to check on us so we had to flag someone down for our bill. I didn’t even bother to ask about the avocado because we were very hungry and eating dinner at 9:30p (arrived at 7p) but for $17 for a basic wrap, I was disappointed and can’t say I have plans to return for the food.
Overall, this would be a spot for a before dinner drink and sit on the back terrace area on the Adirondack chairs listening to the music but be sure to pack your patience because it gets very busy.

This was our second visit, and it didn’t disappoint. If you’re looking for a spot with a great view, this is it absolutely beautiful! The tiki bar, outdoor patio, and lawn seating create an amazing atmosphere. Service was friendly and efficient. Our food was ordered and delivered quickly. You can’t go wrong with the chicken wings, Joe’s Smash Burger, and fish and chips. Everything was delicious! I do wish the menu had a few more options, but overall, it was a great experience. We’ll definitely be back!

You can’t beat the setting & atmosphere. Waterfront view, tons of outdoor seating, great bar, TV’s all over. The service was very good. I hate to be critical because it was so lovely, however, the food was just ok. The menu was outstanding, but the taste was pretty basic. If they upped the quality & taste, it would be a home run!!!

Excellent location with a superb view of Lake St. Claire lake front. Great food and good service. Waitress had toi many tables to attend to, so service was a little slow and it took quite awhile to get our tab and pay. Prices were a little high for the portions and type of food.

I love love love this place! In the summer, it’s one of best spots to enjoy either an amazing meal, drinks or both! Outside and inside bars with great bartenders. Amazing and attentive staff. Great food and excellent atmosphere! The wait on weekends are going to be very long so try to get there earlier. I had the turkey reuben. It was very good! The blackberry margarita hit the spot with lots of flavor! Definitely recommend if you want a fun and relaxing time

First time here, came to pick up our new boat and stopped in for lunch. Great place out on the water, plenty of outdoor sitting. They had a lot of food options and the portions were decent. Hopefully next time we’re here we can enjoy the water and overall outdoor experience after a day of boating.

Cabana Blue never disappoints! The view is absolutely stunning, the food is always fresh and delicious, and the drinks are perfectly made.

Stopped in for lunch with my boyfriend and his family not too long ago. I had a burger and a margarita and they were both really good! The staff was super nice and they were super accommodating towards my 2 year old. They made sure to check in when drinks were running low and got the food out super quick. The only thing i wish, is that they had Keno.
