Just wanted to extend a HUGE thank you to the entire team at CaVa for delivering an exceptional Christmas service for our family yesterday (Christmas Day). The atmosphere was fantastic and the staff were on top form – Christmas jumpers, big smiles, and offers to capture the special day with photographs – we couldn’t have asked for more. The food was hot, tasty and absolutely delicious (thank you to the kitchen staff and chefs). Our group all ordered different things from the Christmas menu and everyone has raved about their meal. We also weren’t rushed – the pace was perfect! We could have easily returned today to do the whole thing again. Thanks to the entire team – we had the best day and are so grateful for you taking the time out of your own Christmas Day to make ours – the first with our 8 week old baby – so special

Phone late Friday afternoon for a tea time booking and they were very accommodating. Warm welcome on arrival and served quickly. Steak frites was really tasty and generous portion and Sauvignon Blanc was lovely and cold and good quality. Pop in every so often and staff are always obliging and manageress always friendly and welcoming. Smashing wee place with good quality food and drink for reasonable price. Highly recommend checking it out!

We loved this place and had made it a Christmas tradition to come and eat the week before Christmas and then go out into town and do something festive. However the last few times we have been the service has been terrible and last year even though we pre booked our table we were squeezed into a table that was not suitable and it was a problem when we asked to move. Regardless of being crammed into another unsuitable table, we stayed – but the service wasn’t great – I think the problem is that they were catering to more covers than they could handle. We also weren’t as impressed with the food, my dish wasn’t up to their usual standard.
I came back recently with my mum for lunch but our sandwiches were so dry. Would hsve been fine if we could get any sauce on the table but was so difficult to get served & when passing on our comments don’t think they were really taken on board.
Unfortunately will be going somewhere else this year

As a lunchtime. With OH & MIL we couldn’t hear each other talk over the loud music. (Did ask to turn down a smidge) will have to ask for table away from all the speakers if we go back.

We booked a special birthday meal last Sunday afternoon for a party of 8 adults & 5 children. We were made very welcome by all the staff. Cava has a lovely atmosphere, good background music ( not too loud ) and delicious food. We picked Cava as it serves vegetarian & gluten free food. Everyone in our party enjoyed the food and a special thank you to our young waiter who was very patient and we never felt rushed.

I’m sure it’s a very popular place but as we are not from the area we don’t get the chance to frequent as much as we would like to.

Really tasty food. The staff are lovely too. The food took a bit long to come but was worth the wait. Will definitely be back. The pancakes with caramelised banana are definitely a winner!
