This is a very small restaurant and we were so disappointed to find out they only served Pho on Fridays. We had to zag and eat vermicelli bowls and sandwiches. The food is okay, definitely above average, but not up to the standards here in Vancouver, Canada. The servings were small for the price but the service was top notch and I appreciated the passion for their restaurant.

A hidden gem in Mt Vernon. First off, service was above and beyond expectations. The food was delicious and satisfying , ambience and decore were great. We came in a Friday night and was delighted to try their pho and I was not disappointed.

A friend has been telling us how great the food and Boba drinks are. My boys love their sandwiches. They threw in spring rolls to try, which I ate because I need gluten free. They were amazing. I was surprised to learn they also have gf bread. We will definitely be going back. The owners are very nice as well!

The lemongrass pork and BBQ pork sandwiches were really nice and authentic. The sandwiches were made with love and homemade fish sauce! Such a nice little spot to drop by for lunch.

The Vietnamese coffee is worth a try if you’ve never had it!

Great spot!

Best Banh Mi I’ve had in a LONG time! Super yummy! And the restaurant is very cute & in a cute location in Downtown Mount Vernon. I like that it has Pho Phridays – makes it feel like a small family kitchen atmosphere.

Ca Phe Song is a hidden gem that I happily stumbled upon one day walking through the center of Mount Vernon. The location is perfectly tucked into the square and the ambience will transport you to a quiet cafe in Europe. The outdoor seating is lovely and perfect for sunny days in the PNW. I have already been back twice and have to fight the daily urge to return for another delicious bite.

Their banh mi is easily the best in Skagit and Whatcom combined, and their BBQ pork in particular is unlike any I have had in the past. The mango boba is OUTSTANDING and I love that all of their food is so fresh.

Most recently I was able to drive there on a Friday to try their beef pho. All I can say is THANK YOU. I have spent five years in WA looking for a pho as delicious as the one I used to eat when I lived in New England. The broth is perfection (so many subtle flavors) and the portions are super generous. You can tell their food is made with love.

For everyone giving negative reviews based on their hours- what a ridiculous thing to give negative feedback on. They are not a fast food business and the whole point of owning a restaurant is to operate on your own schedule. I would also like to say that their pho is NOT flavorless at all and that the folks writing this clearly do not have very discerning palettes.

Y’all keep doing what you’re doing- being awesome, serving incredible food, and bringing a taste of Vietnam to WA state. You have the recipe for success.

It’s a nice little cute shop. The workers were polite and helpful. Had ordered BBQ pork Bahn MI sandwich. The fillings tasted very similar to the Vietnamese restaurants at home but had a creaminess like if they mixed a little mayo or ranch but still delicious. Can’t give it 5 stars due to the fact the baguette wasn’t crispy or crunchy like I’m used to from other Vietnamese restaurants. But in a way it’s a good thing cause if you’re not used to it you’ll end up scraping the top of your mouth lol. Definitely give the restaurant a try.

Remember that part in Friends, when Joey was willing to put his life in jeopardy for his favorite sandwich, because it was *that good?* Ca Phe Song’s tofu banh mi IS that sandwich.
I would put it at the top of my favorite foods here in town, and it is always the thing I request when my husband is out and offers to bring food home. It is SO good!!
Jenny and Ed are so, so nice, and I love that they prioritize their family, which is really difficult to do in the food industry. Give them a try, I promise you won’t be disappointed.

The food and bubble tea here are absolutely amazing! The bahn mi is one of the best bites. It was flavorful, the meat was tender and delicious. The owners are really friendly and the service was fast. The location is also really cute! Can’t wait to go back!
