C2 Steak and Seafood: A Prime Destination for Exquisite Steak and …
Reviews
Honestly didn’t expect such a solid dining experience from a casino steakhouse but the food and service genuinely surprised us, in a good way!
My husband and I shared the 24oz Prime Angus Ribeye, cooked perfectly medium rare. It was juicy, tender and seasoned well. We paired it with a side of chimichurri, which was just okay and didn’t add much to the steak. The day boat scallops were also beautifully cooked, though I found the pineapple emulsion a bit too sweet for my taste.
For sides, the cheesy risotto was a standout. It was creamy, rich, and full of flavor. The roasted asparagus was a great complement to the steak, nicely seasoned with a good bite.
Appetizer-wise, the Caesar salad with real anchovies was a hit. I personally loved how heavily dressed it was. The soup of the day, a seafood chowder, was a bit of a miss. It was more potato than seafood, and while it came in a hot bowl, the soup itself was just lukewarm.
We wrapped up with the Death by Chocolate Cake. It’s super rich, decadent, and everything you’d want in a chocolate dessert.
Shoutout to our server Mani! He was friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. And yes, they do take your players card. So if you’ve got comps, you can use them toward the bill, which definitely helps take the sting off the price tag.
Overall, we had a great time and would definitely come back to try other cuts of steak and some of the other dishes that caught our eye. Solid spot worth checking out!
We went there with another couple to celebrate our 30th anniversary. It was our second time there and this time our food was a little disappointing.
We started off with bread, Which was excellent!
We brought two bottles of wine which were decanted and had a lovely presentation!
We ordered 2 delmonico steaks, 1 filet mignon and a pork chop. Both steaks were extremely salty and did not finish them, but took them home. I rinsed off mine and cubed it into a salad, which was ended up being better.
I had the pleasure of dining at C2 Steak & Seafood tonight. We were a large party and had the bonus of sitting in one of their private rooms—a great touch for special occasions.
Service: Ask for Manny
The service was top-tier. Manny, our waiter, was phenomenal—funny, engaging, and exceptionally detailed in guiding us through the menu. His server assistant was equally on point, making sure we were well taken care of. If you visit, request Manny—he’ll make your experience better.
Steaks: No Complaints Here
I ordered the Delmonico Steak (medium rare), and it was cooked perfectly—a well-marbled cut with fantastic flavor. It came with a roasted shallot or onion, which was a nice touch. Others in my party ordered the Porterhouse and T-bone, and across the board, the steaks delivered. If you’re here for steak, you’re in the right place.
Sides: The Major Letdown
Here’s where things go sideways. We ordered six sides, opting for the $15 “◇” selections (we chose everything except the jasmine rice). Manny warned us that the portions were small, and he was right—but even knowing that, I was shocked when they arrived.
Instead of being served in traditional steakhouse portions, the sides came in a tiny 3-compartment appetizer tray—something you’d expect for sauces or dips, not steakhouse sides. For $15 ($5 per side), the value was disappointing. If you’re expecting the classic, oversized steakhouse sides like a massive baked potato or a skillet of creamed spinach, you will be let down.
How to Order Smart at C2
Steak? Yes. Go for the Delmonico, Porterhouse, or T-bone. They’re worth it.
Sides? Skip the $15 “◇” portions and stick to the regular full-size plates—you’ll get more food for your money.
Wine? Absolutely. If you’re drinking, go for a full bottle—it’s the best value and enhances the meal.
Service? Request Manny. He’s a pro.
Final Verdict
C2 is great for steak, atmosphere, and service. But don’t expect traditional steakhouse sides—this is a modern take with smaller portions. If you know how to order, you’ll have a fantastic meal.
Would I return? Yes—for the steak and service. But next time, I’ll order smarter and avoid $15 ◇ side option.
