A nicely modelled, semi upmarket pub with a nice outdoor space, and tasteful decor. The staff were nice, and the food was even better. The beef bacon burger weirdly had the mouth feel of a McDonald’s burger, but tasted nothing like one. All 4 of us loved our meals there, and we will definitely be returning.

We went there tonight to celebrate a 21st birthday. Nice place inside and out. However, where they sat us ,outdoors, there was a constant stench. It smelt like rotting food in bins. We couldn’t see the bins but boy could we smell them. All night. Our entire table of 20 people were commenting on the bad smell.

Two of the kids ordered nuggets and chips which came with a small tub of tomato sauce each ( pictured ). They both ran out half way through. Classic kids. I asked the waiter if we could please get some more tomato sauce for then. He came back and apologised saying “I’m really sorry but the chef wouldn’t let me take the sauce for you. He said if they want more sauce they need to go to the bar and pay for 2 small tubs of it” Really?!?! A party of 20 people. 20 counter meals with drinks and you couldn’t spare an extra 16 cents worth of sauce? Hospitality 101 I reckon.

It’s a shame because I really wanted to like the place but I think we’ll be looking somewhere else for family nights.

Great venue. My first visit. I sat outside with friends for dinner. Ordered the veal schnitzel. Best beef schnitzel I have ever had in a pub. Most pubs only offer chicken. My friends were regularly and love their burgers. Family friendly with inside and outside.

Absolutely loved my experience at cy’s with all the friendly staff ! The food of course was delicious but a tiny bit on the pricey side for the portions. I do love how everybody working at the bar interacts with us customers and actually takes interest in our day, and the people bringing out our food were also exceptionally kind. While it’s a pub and there were plenty of other tables, it still felt like a personalised experienced with how they checked up on us and treated us. Absolutely recommend the pub and will come again soon !

I went to CY’s with a mate to watch the cricket and had tea in the Beer Garden. Great atmosphere and just a real nice feel to the place. The Steaksandwich was one of the best I’ve had. Went back a few days later with my wife for a lunch inside and again, it was bang on and the steaks were perfect and pretty good drink prices. Its worth the 20 minute drive and is out new favorite family pub. Great job guys!

We came here for lunch as a family of four and it was just ok – the food wasn’t anything great (I had the bacon & cheese burger and my wife had the ceased salad). The service was friendly enough, but our kids meals came out well before our adult meals meaning our kids were almost finished before our food came out. Also, we ordered tartare sauce with my child’s fish n chips but this didn’t come out with her meal – it came out with one of the adult meals and he finished his fish before she could really use it. These are the small things that may not seem like big deals but they add to the overall experience. We like to eat here as it is our local, and we want to support local business, but we were a bit disappointed overall. The pints of soft drink are stacked with ice too – this kind of thing is cheap – if we are paying $7 for a drink at least give us mostly drink and not ice. Overall just an average experience we won’t be rushing back and will explore other options in the canning vale area instead next time…sorry

Came here twice, first time steak was excellent. Today’s food was poor: the Caesar salad and Parmi both had very dry chicken, and the dressing wasn’t the best. Burgers and kids’ meals were okay. Food took so long to come out. Would only recommend their steak.

Review: Melaleuka Farm The Steak House – Piara Waters, Perth WA

Melaleuka Farm The Steak House in Piara Waters offers an outstanding dining experience, combining premium-quality steaks with a warm, family-friendly atmosphere. From the moment you arrive, the friendly and accommodating staff ensure a seamless experience, making this venue a fantastic choice for both casual dining and special occasions.

The restaurant features both indoor dining and a spacious beer garden with plenty of seating, catering to different preferences. The beer garden is an excellent spot for outdoor dining and is enhanced by a large screen, perfect for watching major sporting events. Inside, the dining area is comfortable and well-designed, creating a relaxed yet refined setting. The venue also provides clean and well-maintained bathroom facilities, ensuring a pleasant experience for all guests.

For our meal, we ordered the sirloin and Scotch fillet, accompanied by mac & cheese, steamed greens, a Pepsi, and a Solo. Each dish was cooked to perfection, with the steaks exceeding expectations in both flavor and tenderness. The mac & cheese was rich and creamy, while the steamed greens offered a fresh, well-balanced complement to the meal.

Conveniently, the restaurant is attached to Cy O’Connor pub and a Thirsty Camel bottle shop with a drive-through, making it a great all-in-one destination. Given its popularity, booking in advance is highly recommended.

Wide variety when it comes to non alcoholic and alcoholic beverages. Price varies.

Overall, Melaleuka Farm The Steak House delivers an exceptional dining experience with delicious food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere. It is a must-visit for steak lovers in Perth, and we will certainly be returning.
