C & R Caribbean Jerk restaurant is a family owned and operated Caribbean restaurant. We started in Chicago Illinois in 2006 and opened our second location in Decatur Georgia in 2016. We are dedicated to our customers. Although, we understand believe you cannot please every customer; we aim high at trying. Trini and Caretta do not look at our customers as just customers; once we step inside our restaurant, you are treated a a family member.

A wonderful and pleasant atmosphere makes you feel like home.The food was wonderful some of the best Caribbean food I’ve have since I’ve moved here.Would recommend my family and friends to come visit.Trust me you want be disappointed.The staff and owner are very nice and down to earth!!!!

I wouldn’t feed this food to my dog. There is no flavor. This is definitely not authentic Jamaican food. I ordered the jerk, chicken, rice and peas and cabbage. The chicken was so nasty and salty. The only thing I could taste was chicken bouillon seasoning. Disgusting the rice also disgusting and salty the cabbage even more disgusting I don’t know who the chef is but he needs to retire immediately this is the worst food I’ve ever had in my entire life.

Eat at your own risk if you want clogged arteries! Very greasey salty Oxtails and greasey rice had to soak up the grease oil so we don’t get sick This is no gravy! This is pure grease! You need to take the fat off your Oxtails maybe it will be less grease! And the food taste like yesterday’s leftovers For record I will not be patronizing this Restaurant ever again! I always purchase the whole jerk chicken and pair my own sides with it. Today I purchased large jerk chicken with rice and pea and a side of sweet potato. The chicken is seasoned to the bone. The jerk sauce I suggest you get it on the side unless you like fire in your mouth. Hot Hot… the sweetness of the sweet potatoes are just right.

Great food but you can’t tell how long it will take them to make it. First time I went there we got the food in 10 minutes, the second time it was more than 30 minutes so be sure to ask how long if you are on a timeline!

Believe all of the negative reviews!! DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!! THIS IS THE WORST JAMAICAN RESTAURANT IN ATL!!! The food does indeed smell like it’s been sitting out SPOILING for days and they sell u burnt chicken! I threw my food in the garbage! Waste of money!!! In addition the customer service is TERRIBLE!!! I payed for extra sauce (which is $1.00 on UberEats per ounce) called to confirm my order on 12/13 around 8pm and the person over the phone said they raised the price at $5!!! FOR SAUCE?? OK!! So I said well can you add something for what I paid for they said no you didn’t pay for it and hung up the phone!!! I WAS APPALLED!! I called back and it went to voicemail! THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN ASAP!!! I typically don’t even write negative review but I am LIVID!!!

The food was decent. The flavor was not outstanding but it wasn’t bad. I came a long way to try it out and if I am in passing maybe I’ll try it again but I won’t be making a special trip to this location. Not bad if you live close by though.

2022 update: I came in approximately 8:00 p.m. loud music I was not greeted when I walked in I was not greeted as I stood there and tried to figure out what I wanted to order and the woman at the counter was not interested in my order at all another person came in behind me and we both decided to leave ….A little pricey for the quality of food and service. Ordered Curry Goat Large $17 beef patty and one Ginger Beer +$22. Plate was loaded with tender meat. Overcooked cabbage and carrots. Rice was regular, no coconut milk or scotch bonnet. Only 1 slice plantain??? The girl taking our order was cool and didn’t thank us for our business.

Ya’ll – the plantains are garbage (Don’t let the pic fool you…those things tasted & smelled 4 or 5 days old). Oxtails were good, Jerk Chicken …good. Rice & Peas – 109% trash.
