…to begin with I NEVER submit a bad review neither have I in the last four decades walked away without learning a tip… however today was a first. I travel extensively throughout the Midwest and always seek family owned businesses as they usually provide the best quality services and products. This diner although quaint and not without excellent service provides absolutely no value for $ spent. A breakfast is near impossible to get wrong and by the same token equally able to make outstanding with little effort. It was just a simple breakfast without anything remarkable except the price. I never mind paying a little more for the family diner experience but I take great offense to being robbed. I left and in ten minutes got some decent food at half the price..

Just a quaint small business in Bloomfield that serves great food at affordable prices. Much better than anything I can cook (I took some basic cooking classes in Los Angeles several years ago). My waitress was magnificent, efficient, and kind. Allowed me time to look over the menu but seemed to know exactly when I’d made a decision. Prompt with both food and drink. I’ll definitely make it a point to return!

I had the ham and turkey melt. Very good. Hubby ordered the Frisco burger (I think that’s what it’s called) came on texas toast, which would have been better grilled then toasted. All in all not bad. I ordered soup as a side expecting a cup of soup but received a huge bowl of what tasted to be Cambells Veg. Soup. The waitress was calm and quiet with a very busy lunch rush. Hats off to her. Excellent service.

Came around an hour before closing. Service was nice and super attentive! I had chicken Alfredo tortellini. My husband had a Philly cheese steak sandwich. It was good but he only got 12 French fries lol my daughter had a salad which was super yummy and HUGE! We’ll definitely be back!!

Stopped in for some take out while I was in town on work. I decided to do take out because their listed hours of operation said they closed in 20 minutes. The waitress was very nice about taking my order. The entire time I was waiting they kept filming dining tables. So apparently their posted hours are incorrect. Ordered the black and blue burger and fries. I asked for ketchup and was given 4 restaurant packets for a massive amount of fries. (Picture taken after I ate about half) I left the restaurant and went to eat my food. The fries were undercooked and tasteless. The burger was nice and hot but probably the worst burger I have had in a long time. The bacon was very undercooked and rubbery and it felt like I was in a cartoon trying to eat rubber. I ended up removing the bacon and was left with a dry burger and blue cheese crumbles. I ended up going somewhere else to get sauce to put on it, but honestly it was not worth eating.

A pleasant “hometown” diner. Dine in available as well as delivery and order ahead. Portions are substantial, service pleasant, and pricing reasonable. Also, minimally decorated but super cute.
