For starters, the decor inside is very cool. Lots of seating and good food and drink. Got the orange Chipotle pasta with chicken. Was beyond delicious. My husband loved the chicken bacon ranch quesadilla. Service was a little slow and the prices a little high, but over worth the stop during my vacation. Recommended.

The staff was very friendly and did a great job all around. The food was good… an interesting variety on the menu. Pizza was great and the ice cream was a delight (could see going back just for ice cream).

They made a heroic effort to seat me without a reservation on Valentine’s Day, for which I’m grateful. I quite enjoyed their frozen lemonade bourbon cocktail, and the beef burgundy pasta was surprisingly good. Overall nice place.

Stopped for lunch. Was seated quickly, and had our drink order taken. The menu is large so a lot to pick from. I ended up with the Sicilian. What a sandwich. Delicious and filling. Staff was friendly and attentive, atmosphere was pleasant, not too loud. Highly recommend if you are in the area.

Eclectic atmosphere with down home food. Huge menu, portions are so big 1 order will suffice 3 meals, food is GOOD. My dad at 84 is the masters of open faced sandwiches and the roast beef with gravy was on point! All the food was good and very reasonable priced, 2, large scoops of ice cream for $5! Open on Sundays which is a plus on Jesus day. Friendly staff!

My wife and I went here for our leap anniversary. As we had read great reviews about this place and was looking for some place new to us to try. We arrived 4:50pm and were quickly greeted by Allison and taken to a booth. She asked us about our drink choices and left to gather those for us. A few moments later she arrived with our drinks and asked if we were ready to order. Of course never have dined there we replied not yet. She followed with would you like any appetizers. We replied by saying nah we’re ok just need to look at the menu. She replies ok I’ll be back in a few minutes. 10 minutes pass and she finally heads our direction only to go to another table and proceed to take their order. So we wait………….another 10 minutes goes by before she returns to take our order. We both order the same sandwich only mine is with no onions or pickles. The Smash Cheeseburger with their house chips. We are pretty hungry and getting impatient as we sit there and watch other people that ordered after us receive their order. I look at my watch. I told my wife it’s 5:47, if we don’t have our food by 5:50 we will just leave because we could have gotten faster friendlier service at McDonalds. A moment later the food had finally arrived. My burger that had taken forever long to prepare was a single smash cheeseburger with onions and no pickles. When I asked for no onions or pickles. My wife received a double smash cheeseburger which is what we both had ordered. The food pretty much matched the service. Cold and tasteless. I’ve probably had a lot worse but I can’t remember when or where so this one will take that spot until then. Really had high expectations only to be met with low quality service and mediocre at best food.

Magical pizza and ice-cream. Something for everyone no doubt. We had Margaret eata with banana peppers added and Thai with jalapeño added. Raspberry chip ice-cream and fried green beans appetizer. Cold trail beer with slice of orange. This visit added a nice touch to a great weekend at Dolly Sods

The service from our server was excellent. Attentive, friendly, and caring without being pushy!

The atmosphere is excellent. The decor and overall vibe is great!

The only thing that we found a tiny bit underwhelming was the food, which we felt was a little under what we had thought it would be based on local opinion. We also may have ordered items that weren’t favorites or specialties, or perhaps it was just an off night.

Very grateful for the entire staff and the vibe of such a wonderful place. Definitely worth visiting, and instead of doing what we did, ask for local favorites! The people in this town know what’s best!

This used to be my wife and I’s favorite spot to stop and eat at in Elkins. They’ve definitely changed in the last few years.

My Pittsburgh sandwich was vastly different than before. The “roast beef” was steakums that had been poorly grilled and lacked all seasoning. The bread was not like their hearth bread. And the fries were terrible battered fries. Sandwich was dry as hell.

We complained to the waitress who just told us that’s how they are now and did nothing to fix the issue. Super disappointed and we will probably not return.

Disappointing paying $60+ for a bad meal.
