Great find in East Rutherford! Everything was delicious from start to finish! This restaurant offers your staple Italian classics plus dishes with a modern flair. They also have a nice list of specials which change daily that you can find on their website under specials. I started with complimentary fresh bruschetta bread which was great! For appetizer I had the mini arancini balls that came with an amazing marinara sauce! For my entree I had the homemade four cheese cannelloni topped with fresh mozzarella and basil. That dish was fantastic! Normally at other restaurants the edges of the pasta get dried out, but not here! There wasn’t one dried out edge! The cannelloni was cooked to perfection! When I thought things couldn’t get any better the dessert menu came! They had a great selection of all house made desserts! Not only is the chef here amazing, but he also is a fabulous pastry chef as well! I had a dessert special which was a cookie dough lava cake with chocolate gelato! That was insanely good! It tasted like a warm chocolate chip cookie right from the oven! This restaurant also has a private room for parties, and an excellent wait staff. Prices here are extremely reasonable for the quality of food being served. I highly recommend dining at this C. Greto’s in East Rutherford!

Treated like family from the first phone call to make reservations. Owner made everything very personal & perfect. Food delicious & appetizers were “the” best!

Private room…wonderful for small parties.
Parking great with municipal lot across street. You can also park on street, if you’re lucky you’ll get a spot nearby!
Would definitely recommend… you will agree!

Dishes all had great depth in flavor, nice sized portions and the service was spot on. Gluten free accommodations were made without hesitation and the owner and server could not had done any better to make our night wonderful. A must try. We had seafood pasta dishes, salmon and dessert. All were amazing!

Great ambiance and service. Best of all was the excellent food. I had the Chicken Mediterraneo and was not disappointed. So many great choices on the menu, I can’t wait to go back and try more. The owner came around and visited the tables several times throughout service. He gave great recommendations and came back to see how I liked my choice. I will definitely go back again soon.

The food is excellent, as is the service. The ambiance is cozy and relaxing and the noise level is moderate, at most. BYOB. What more could you ask for? Highly recommend. We’ve been there 3 times; we will definitely go again!

Incredible freshly made food. The owner and staff were really awesome providing a true personal touch. You didn’t feel like you were eating in a restaurant but that you were at your best friend’s house. Though they forgot to give me my Risotto before I left, it is a place I will come back to the next time I am in the area.

I’ve come here for dinner at least 5 times and the food and service are superb! I do not like to rush my experience, and they honor this. I had an amazing meal here with my wife last night and I can’t say enough positive things…the decor, service, atmosphere, food (selection and quality) were all spot on.
And JR, the manager, is just absolutely the nicest guy! He has a true nack to be able to listen to people and get them exactly what they want.
