I tried the pizza here and it was delicious — and I was even told it didn’t have all the usual ingredients that day, so apparently it’s normally even better. The ambiance is cozy and laid‑back, which fits the small‑town setting. It was pretty quiet when I went, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing.
I do wish they had darts or a pool table to give people something to do, especially since it’s the kind of place where you might want to hang out for a bit. It’s a good spot to stop for a drink and a bite to eat, though if you’re not a local it might feel a little awkward being there alone.
Overall, I enjoyed it and plan on going back to try more of the pizzas.

great grub, cheery attentive service. got the Charlie Burger (fried egg + ham), pretty much perfect. countless other choices. three TVs, 11 taps and free wifi. as small town pubs go, you could do far worse.

We have gotten food here a few times and every time swear it will be the last. We gave them one last chance tonight with burgers. How can you screw that up, right? Well, they can. Dry bun, no condiments at all. If you don’t specifically say you want tomatoes, onion and pickles you get a dry bun, no condiments and a patty. Yeah. This definitely is the last chance they get. Edited down to 1 star only because it won’t register negative stars. After adding my own condiments and taking a bite and gagging, I am just angry we spent $30 there. The “100% Angus beef” tastes like a salmon cake. I HATE fish! This was 100% inedible. Could have driven 20 miles to Zip’s and spent less for food that is edible. Never again.

Food was outstanding and staff were so friendly. It was my husband’s birthday and they brought out apple cobbler to celebrate the day. This place will bring us back to Tekoa and more delicious food.

We had a wonderful time stopping by Tekoa’s one and only bar on our bike ride from Rosalia to Tekoa on the P2C trail. It is a 40 mile round trip if anyone is interested in seeing some beautiful country. Watch out of rainy days though, the mud gets crazy sticky! The service was great, onion rings hit the spot, burgers were pretty good and they had No-Li Cascade Fog beer on tap. Filled our belly’s for the ride back.

The people in town are great but I can’t eat most things on the menu due to cross contaminated oil. Fish fried in the same oil fries and chicken. Last time there the food was cold, overcooked and slow to the table. With no other location night time options, I cook at home. Better for my health and pocketbook anyway
