We booked a table at this restaurant about 10 days ago planning on having dinner on Thanksgiving Day.
The restaurant opens at 5 PM and they close at 9 PM.
We were given a table in a corner beside what looks like an emergency exit…not exactly the nicest corner in the restaurant.
The atmosphere in this restaurant is nice…but you need to get the right table…
We ordered our drinks, and a soup.
Then we ordered some filet mignon before the soup arrived. We were told they were out of filet mignon but they could serve a NY strip…not on the menu, not exactly clear for how much because the waiter didn’t mention any pricing for that item not on the menu…
We tell the waiter we need a few more moments.
We make up our mind for NY strip and lamb chops.
We order and the waiter lets us know they are out of red meat.
It is really stunning that a restaurant that is supposed to be higher hand is out of some of their main dishes after two hours from the opening time.
The waiter blamed this on a truck driver strike and then on the new chef they have.
One good thing (I wouldn’t know how this should have gone otherwise) when we told the waiter we didn’t want anything else other than the drinks we ordered and the bill for those drinks, he told us we didn’t have to pay.
Then we left and went to the Ten Mile Tavern, which is a great place and we had dinner there.
The manager at CB Grille was also extremely disappointing as she didn’t even try to keep us as customers. The only thing she could say was: “I’m sorry, I had no control over this.”
Yes, I hope you are, because I certainly am and your restaurant and the way it is managed is not a place that deserves more than one star.
One last thing…I would have been willing to pay for the overpriced dishes, but after tonight’s experience, I will not return to CB Grille.
Not worth the money and not worth the pain.

The food and staff were extraordinary! Pricey but well worth it. This place is a must while in Copper mountain.

After 6+ years of coming to this restaurant during our skiing trips, we were disappointed with our recent meal on January 24, 2020.
The service and interior are still good but what happened to the food?!
How many upscale restaurants have you gone to where you didn’t even like the bread (plain buns with plain butter)?
House salad was bland and boring, Wendy’s do a better job with their salads. Chicken pot looked horrible and tasted horrible, had to be sent back. Appetizers were okay. Our waiter, Chuck, was friendly and did a good job.
This restaurant used to have a great chef, apparently not anymore. Now it is an upscale restaurant with high prices and a diner-quality food.
I cannot recommend this place anymore, it is inferior food at a superlative price. I don’t think we’ll be going back.

So the food was tasty but something happened that kind of shocked me. I was hosting some athletes that were competing over the weekend, so when the waiter brought me my check (after my card had already been charged for a different amount) and told me he had put another tables meal on the previous check I didn’t want to get into it. The table he pointed to was another group of athletes so I thought it wouldn’t hurt to help them out. I found out the next day that the group of athletes the waiter pointed at payed their entire bill, so I’m not sure where the extra $80 went. Like I said, the food was good but at an already overpriced restaurant it stung a little to be charged that much extra.

Our son got married at Copper Mountain last weekend. We had the rehearsal dinner at CB Grille and had a great experience! The manager, Cliff, was extremely helpful and attentive to every detail. He worked hard to make sure our evening was perfect for the bridal party, family and friends who attended. The guests raved about the food and service was outstanding. I would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the Copper Mountain area.

We decided to try out this C.B. Grille since I love duck and they had it in their menu. The duck was prepared just perfect and the risotto and vegetables were the perfect match! My wife ordered the rack of lamb with chimichurri sauce, and she just had high praises for the meat! The staff was very attentive, and although we didn’t have a reservation they accommodated us within 15 minutes. Certainly a place to refuel your energy after a long day at the slopes.

This is, by far, the best dining experience at Copper. The staff was Great, service was simply awesome, and the food was top grade. I do recommend CB Grille for a quick bite, a drink to relax, or a dinner to enjoy
