Had a good time visiting to watch The Fenians play :). The pretzels and chilli cheese fries were great.

This place is truly a hidden gem. My girlfriend said the French Onion Soup was INCREDIBLE so i had a big bite and let me tell you what, she was right! This place also has the Best fish and chips I’ve ever had at any Irish Pub and I have been to quite a few. The Sauerkraut balls were AMAZEBALLS and the wasabi mayo dipping sauce was OUTSTANDING! Luke and Lucas at the bar were GREAT and they can pour a proper Guinness like they were born to do so! Keep up the great work fellas and thanks again for the GREAT SERVICE and AMAZING FOOD! We will definitely be back!

We left another place in Grandview because of poor service and decided to try Byrne’s. We were pleasantly surprised. We got a little table outside on the patio and had a great evening. The waitresses were friendly and attentive. While the spirits selection is limited, there are some good beer options. We rolled the dice and decided to try Old Fashions to top the night which were nicely balanced. The sandwiches we got both had real carved turkey instead of lunch meat. All of the ingredients were generous and fresh. Not fine cuisine, but some great bar food! Recommended!

Byrnes Pub is exactly what you want in a neighborhood Irish pub in Columbus. Local, family owned, welcoming, and the kind of place that instantly feels like Cheers. It has that true neighborhood bar vibe where everyone feels like a regular, whether it is your first visit or your fiftieth.
All of the best things you want from an Irish pub.
They have dart nights, trivia nights, live music, and an overall atmosphere that makes it a genuinely great bar to spend time in. The food is surprisingly good, especially with the option to order from Grandad’s Pizza next door, which makes this a great spot for casual drinks and late night food in Columbus.
Drinks are affordable, nothing feels overpriced, and the vibe is relaxed and unpretentious. If you are looking for a family owned Irish pub in Columbus with great events, good drinks, and a true neighborhood feel, Byrnes Pub is an easy recommendation.

What a great experience! In a time that we lazily choose a chain eatery, it’s high time to reflect on what gave us our chains ⛓️
Old-school eatery with wood and fixtures older than myself feels like home to me. Add a friendly family and capable staff and some cool trivia and you get a singular experience that was all to common just a couple of decades ago. We had bangers and mash, shepherds pie , and ribs. All were outstanding and despite their ample and intimidating proportions nary a take-away box was needed. Hail Columbus, Hail Eire and many thanks!

I don’t know why it took so long for us to visit this place. Everything was terrific. The atmosphere, the bartender and especially the food. We had the turkey Ruben and fish & chips. Both were excellent. We will definitely be back.

Great lil pub! I ordered the sheppards pie, and and it was absolutely amazing! Probably one of the best I’ve ever had. Fun atmosphere. The bartender was curt but great. $7.50 for a beer on tap, but had several great local options. Definitely check this place out
