We had Latte and Matcha Loaf. The Loaf was really good (I am a big fan of Matcha so maybe I am biased). Maybe a bit too sweet for my taste but it was good. I would order it again. The Latte was good, pretty standard.
I got an iced chai latte and a bwèkfast sandwich.
The sandwich was extremely delicious, and the sweet sriracha dip that came along with it was a perfect combination. Genuinely cannot recommend this enough, it was one of the best things I’ve eaten.
The iced chai latte was also good, and cheaper compared to other places for the same size.
The atmosphere is cozy, but unfortunately I had to take my meal to go. However, the way they packed my sandwich was extremely well, and it remained very hot for long time.
I would definitely recommend this cafe, especially the bwèkfast sandwich!
Service was 3 ⭐, not because it was bad, but was just a tad slow. Based on Google maps, this was one of only 2-3 cafes within a 0.5 mile walking radius of where I was staying temporarily — the other was star bucks — and with good reviews, so it was not surprising that it was fairly busy. This was 9am on a June Saturday, and the cafe was probably 80% filled, but there was only one line to order. I believe they have a single order intake machine. So the line was at least 5 people long the whole 30 minutes I was there, and people probably had to stand in line for up to 10 minutes. At one point, there were 2 or maybe even 3 baby strollers in the cafe, and 4-5 little kids.
Point is, it seems to be a popular shop, perhaps owing in part to the lack of many other options in the area, so, as a customer, you should be prepared to wait and also embrace the mild chaos

Drinks:
Lavender Cold Brew Latte (with 2% Milk)
• Had potential, but it tasted like a cup of lavender milk.
• Could barely taste the cold brew — very disappointing.
Blueberry Cold Brew Latte (with Skim Milk)
• Better balance of syrup, milk, and cold brew.
• Not bad, but not a standout either.
Jonathan and I stopped by this café during a long walk around the Newport and Hamilton Park area. I’ve heard a lot of hype about Bwè and the spot was buzzing even near closing time, but our drinks didn’t quite live up to expectations. The lavender latte was mostly milk with just a hint of coffee. That said, we’re not giving up on them just yet — we’re planning to try the Hoboken location soon! We also had our eye on the prosciutto and fig sandwich, but sadly the kitchen was already closed. The seating is cozy, so we’re hoping for a better experience next time.
