We were recommended to try the burgers here. And they did not disappoint. If your not sure what to get, definitely go with a burger. We had there half pound mushroom and Swiss burger with crinkle cut fries. Fries where very fresh. The burger was real meat and cooked to perfection. Will definitely be back there for another burger. The prices on stuff are amazing. My burger was only $9.75!!

Hidden gem! 5/5 as a small town restaurant with great food and a true value. We have liked everything we have gotten. Delicious pork steaks. Great fish. Also great breakfast served all day.

Update from Feb 2024 – managed to get back for favorite meal and once again The Buzz did not disappoint. Already craving it again!

————————- *If you drive a little past the cafe, do not make a U turn, local popo were watching at a distance.

We arrived at opening time and were greeted and order taken promptly. For a small place, there is good variety of popular menu choices.

Even as very first customers, our order came right out. Huge catfish fillet was perfect combo of light and crispy and cooked through but not over.
The coating was a great combination of flour, fine cornmeal and spices that you do not get just anywhere. Best light and crispy sweet potato fries I have ever had! And if you have to have your veggies, the broccoli was the perfect combo of a bit al dente and not overcooked. Dining companions enjoyed the coleslaw as well. Our picture does not do justice to the size of dinner plate. Portion is large for the money, and each of us needed a take home box which was thoroughly enjoyed again. We were too full but dying to try the sweet tea and pies made there, not brought in.

We noted a large supply order for the cafe arrived and even during the noon hour rush was opened, stored appropriately, and boxes removed with no apparent impact on customer wait time!

Restroom was adequate and obviously well maintained.

I would love to give a great review because my husband and I are both locals of Sturgeon. However, I can’t due to the unfriendly attitude of our waitress on several occasions. We have brought several other people with us to dine here as well, and they also felt the bad attitude of the waitress ruined it for them. It makes us feel unwelcome to your establishment. We will travel further for a better experience to spend our money from now on.

My husband Damion and I ate here last night.
Burgers are on point! They are very flavorful, juicy and grilled to perfection.
The French fries (crinkle cut) are crispy and delicious, the onions, lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles taste fresh and sliced to perfection. The atmosphere is welcoming and peaceful, with country music playing in the background.
Stacy is a wonderful waitress/ hostess. Her husband Bruce, is an awesome cook, and doesnt rush and takes his time to make sure the food is cooked to perfection.
The interior paint looks kinda like candy corn and is beautiful.
The entire Cafe is clean, especially the bathroom. They have soft toilet paper, (Charmin).
Just come on in and pick a table or booth and sit down, Stacy is there with menus, and silverware, kindly asking what you what you would like to drink, when she comes back with your drinks she asks if you are ready to order or would like more time. She is very polite, has a warm smile, and great personality.
They have daily specials, and even have homemade pies; like Apple crisp, chocolate, cherry, pumpkin, coconut, gooseberry. (Didn’t order pie but next time we will).
Price is perfect! The Jr burger is huge, glad I didn’t order the quarter pound lol.
They even have deep fried pickles (will definitely try next time we go)
Located on town Square catty corner to the bank and a block away from Pringers grocery store.

Waited 45 mins for food when we were the only group there lol. Waitress was rude to us. As soon as we sat down she came up to take our order and we havent placed our drink order yet and she rudely asked “what do you want to eat”. Buddy of mine asked to switch his drink out for something else very politely and we got a scoff and a eye roll instead both times. McDonald’s has better food and cheaper IMO, onion rings were burnt as well as my burger. This is the first bad review I’ve ever left on a place just because of the rude waitress. Be a better person!

Dan and I LOVE stacey and Bruce. I am addicted to their tenderloins. Its 2 meals for me. Dan and I dont see any snarkiness in staceys attitude. Her and Bruce go out of their way to be nice and welcoming. You get 5 stars for EVERYTHING. GREAT JOB GUYS.
