I really enjoyed the breakfast sandwich too.
The space feels light and cozy, with plenty of plants . Such a great overall experience!
First off, the blueberry cake there is out of this world. Seriously, it’s like nothing I’ve ever tasted before. The cake was super moist, and the blueberries were perfectly sweet – not too sugary, just natural and delicious. It’s one of those cakes that you keep thinking about long after you’ve finished eating.
Then there was the cappuccino. I’m kind of picky about my coffee, but their cappuccino was on point. It had the perfect amount of foam, and the temperature was just right. It wasn’t too hot or too cold, which is super important for a good cappuccino. It was the kind of drink that makes you feel all cozy and happy inside.
The vibe of Butternut Bakehouse is also worth mentioning. It’s got this cool, laid-back atmosphere that makes you want to hang out there all day. The staff were super friendly too. They greeted me right when I walked in and were really nice the whole time. It’s cool when you can feel comfortable in a place right away.
And oh, the smells in the bakehouse! As soon as you walk in, you get hit with the scent of fresh baking, and it’s amazing. It’s like walking into a cloud of happiness. I could seriously just sit there and smell the air all day.
I’m already planning my next trip back to Butternut Bakehouse. Gotta try more of their cakes and maybe some pastries too. If you haven’t been there yet, you’re totally missing out. It’s a must-visit for anyone who loves good cake and coffee!
We ended up with several pastries, coffees, and an egg sandwich. Everything tasted divine, especially the sandwich!
Cannot wait to return!
The coffee isn’t best though unfortunately. It’s too bitter and overroasted to my taste and you will not see a lovely pattern on top of your drink like you do at Intelligentsia or George Howell, or Thinking Cup. An egg and bacon croissant sandwich turned to be on a bun instead of a light and flaky croissant.
