First timer here. Definitely wanted to really enjoy this one but some of the food items fell short of what we were expecting. First positive comment is the excellent customer service. The manager is very helpful and thoughtful. The pimento cheese balls were outstanding! The smashville fries appetizer was solid. It’s just those collards smh. No flavor at all. I’m not sure what is going on there but they are not good. And they were served like warm, which made me sort of cautious to eat them. The smashville chicken sandwich was a bit too much of the wrong things. Not really that spicy hot, too much slaw, and just really not a lot of flavor. In place of the greens, I got the slaw and it has just a flat taste. No vinegar, spice, or sweetness. It’s hard to describe besides blah. Honestly, the food is just ok but I will be running back for those pimento cheese balls. Drooling good.

Hands down the best fried chicken around. Been here many times and it’s always the same, I love the consistency. The chicken is fried to perfection, not sure if they use a pressure fryer but whatever it is it works!
The seasoning is just right, you taste it but it doesn’t take over, you still taste the chicken. The breading is just perfect, I mean someone stayed up many nights and worked very hard to get this right. Thank you to them!
Service is great even though you don’t interact much with the employees, you order from a tablet but the employees always check to see if you have questions or need help.
Two negatives are they don’t accept cash and drink cups are so small, gotta keep getting up for refills. Common at least 16oz cups!!!

We come here regularly because it’s the only place we can get reliable and consistent food, service, and gluten free fried chicken. Although the dietary restriction is not my own I will only order the gluten free option myself because it’s that good and you absolutely cannot tell it’s gluten free, to the point that I had to ask the first couple times to make sure it was right because we couldn’t believe it wasn’t regular fried chicken and we feared cross contamination. You’d never be able to tell it’s gluten free. Worth the money to come and the upcharge, because the staff is always gracious and the food is always the same (which I cannot express how much that means because they are 1000% consistent in their dishes). Food always tastes fresh, if they’d only let me buy their seasoning that’s honestly all that would make it better. Customers for life!

I walked in the door and was greeted by the owner of the restaurant. He asked if it was my first time dining there, and when I replied yes, this angel of a man dropped everything and came over to welcome me and give me a few insider tips on the food. He even brought me samples of the sauces to try before I ordered.. and I didn’t even ask for them! Before I even got my food.. I had already rated the experience 10/10. BUT THEN— I GOT THE SINGLE MOST DELICIOUS CHICKEN SANDWICH AND SIDE OF FRIES OF MY LIFE. I’m talking sticky, hot honey running down my hands.. and I didn’t even care. The fries were crispy and seasoned perfectly.. not to mention the house made honey mustard that the owner recommended I dip my fries in. I live about 2 hours away, and immediately called my husband to say “don’t make plans this weekend, we’re going to get a chicken sandwich.”

Came because of the GFO and I was just so impressed overall! Parking was easy. I got the OG, fries, collards, and a fountain drink in order to try a good amount of things. Ordering was done through a kiosk it was super easy. I got a text when my food was ready. It did take awhile but I could literally see the staff making it. The decor and environment was very open. I substituted for a gluten free bun and gluten free chicken. The chicken sandwich was excellent. The chicken was crispy and perfectly fried. I upgraded for bacon. The bacon was good. The gluten free bun was crumbling but that is expected with gluten free buns for me. It was a tasty quality bun not like the cardboard texture variety often served other places. The fries were good. They were cooked well and the seasoning was pleasing. I especially loved the collards. I found them to be very well seasoned. The fountain drink was a fountain drink no complaints. I felt full afterwards. I really enjoyed my meal and I will definitely return. I’d recommend it.

Food was amazing. Two vegan and one regular chicken sandwiches. All were crispy hot and delicious. Mac and cheese was cheesy as can be. Fried green tomatoes came with a unique relish that elevated them beyond your normal fired green tomatoes. Staff was friendly and helpful. The only issue was, as noted by others, the stickiness of the tables. Not a problem with cleanliness. More of the finish is aging. But don’t let that one tiny issue stop you from enjoying the best chicken sandwiches around.

This was our first time, and it was delicious! We started with fried green tomatoes – yery good and the pickles on top were tasty. I got the Southern Chicken Bowl and that was awesome. Chicken was tender, juicy, and crispy on the outside with perfect seasoning. The collard greens were yummy, and the Mac and cheese was delicious. The sauce on the chicken was super good, and had just enough heat to enhance the flavor of the chicken.
The staff was very friendly and walked us through the menu – we had a great dinner!

Really good upscale fast food chain. The chicken is delicious. They actually season it. Pimento cheese balls are fantastic. Fried green tomatoes has this weird sweet relish on it. Took it off and they were better. Only real complaint is that it’s a kiosk type ordering service. You order, get a number and wait. But before you check out, it asks for a tip. Tip for what? But I’ll still come back.
