Don’t get me wrong, the guard shack was great and the yard dogs were friendly. No issues there at all. But the shipping office moved at a snail’s pace. I checked in at 3 PM and didn’t depart until 11:30 PM. I would’ve loved to be in and out within an hour or two and already heading toward Florida so I could actually enjoy a day off tomorrow. Instead, it looks like I’ll be driving most of the day. Appreciate it.

It is absolutely inexcusable when you have an appointment time that you’ve showed up on time for and it takes them two and a half hours to assign you a door. And another God knows how many hours to load you. From the look of the other reviews this is the norm here. I won’t be coming back here.

The people are bad at least I didn’t have any major issues. I do have a issues though with i was supposed to be a drop and hook not a life load. I got this load at like 7am so there shouldn’t have been a reason why the trailer was not ready at 7p. Didn’t get called to the door till 330a. So I am gonna guess either they are really slow or they just dont have the people to cover.
It would make more sense if they are going to have the yard dog seal the trailer to have him bring the paperwork too. Most of have pens in the truck. The do have a scale but you have to weight each axle it only does gross. I weight the steer and the drives and guess the trailer.

Worst place for loading, you wait a long time and miss the delivery time. It’s better to avoid this warehouse. Appointment is 7:00 pm check in 1:40 pm , 10:10 pm docked ( 5-more times asked give me door please) now is already 11:00 pm just starting to load.

I checked in with the security guards and they were very professional and friendly.
When I got back to the shipping office I found a young lady working who was very friendly and professional, assigning me a door right away.
I dropped my trailer and parked across from it awaiting for it to be loaded.
There is a restroom inside the shipping office for the drivers.
The yard jockey came over to me approximately 90 minutes later to tell me that my trailer was ready and to go back into the shipping office for my paperwork.
They let me stay overnight since I was basically out of hours and really couldn’t get anywhere to park.
There is a platform scale that you have to use before leaving, just pulled on slowly to get weights, after doing a little subtraction, not to difficult like some reviews show.
Overall I found that this is a good place to pick up or deliver to. Everyone from the security guards to the shipping office personnel are professional and friendly.

Delivered a load here. You park almost in front of office on right hand side with Truck parking sign. Walked to office and they sign bols and let driver know where to park till they’re ready to unload with door number. In my case, it was a quick drop n hook. Plenty of room in yard and they do allow to arrive early. Staff was courteous and helpful.

Appointment was 8:30 didn’t get a door til 10. Trailer wasn’t ready til midnight. Make sure you use their scale when leaving (it only does gross weight of your whole truck and trailer) and then at the guard shack they ask for you to write down all your weight how does one know what the weight is if I only have gross of the whole lot. Does allow over night parking so that’s a plus. They make you drop your trailer unhook and park across from the docks

First shift was great and they even keep me up to date on my reload on 05/3/25 delivered at 0630 on 5/2/25 with reload at 0230 5/3/25 but second shift acts like im a problem for bein here so early and didnt even want to check on how much of my load was done and how much was not made. So to all the hard workers on May 2nd 2025 on 6am to 6pm shift thanks you for all you do and the way you treat us drivers is the way i wish all customers treated us. Thanks again for all your hard work.

This place is BS I had a drop & hook appointment at 1330. I showed up an hour early and they didn’t have my trailer ready. It’s called a drop & hook, not a drop & wait. You’re not supposed to load a drop & hook when the driver arrives to your location. ♂️

This review is for Butterball in Mount Olive NC. As with any warehouse there will always be mixed reviews. Mine in particular was pleasant. Once you enter the property the gate guard will check your trailer. Make sure it’s clean. You’ll then proceed around the back of the warehouse to your left. Park in the staging area around back. S&R office is next to dock door #1. Some will be live loads while others may be drop and hook. When you depart please pay attention to the signs as it’s a one way street next to the docks. You’ll go across the scales before you leave, the scale only does gross weight, not individual axles. I guess you can put your axles on the scale independently but I didn’t do it like that. Although the paper you have to fill out asks for each axle so I just guesstimated lol. You’ll give the paper to the guard so it has to be filled out. Hope
