I was showing a client in the area and stopped by for dinner. The brussel sprouts ap was the best. We also tried the chili. It was packed with meat and flavor. My husband ordered the brisket special which was brisket, mashed potatoes, and asparagus covered in gravy. The brisket was insanely tender but the gravy kind of threw it off. The mashed potatoes had a unique flavor that we couldn’t figure out but it’s one of those you love it or hate them. They may have French onion dip in them. I had the patty melt. It wasn’t the best I feel like the bread took over and that’s all I tasted. I love the onions but wish the bread was somehow different. The fries were good. We tried the turtle dessert and the maple dessert and the maple was our favorite

The food, atmosphere, and service were amazing! My only minor complaint is not knowing the macaroni and cheese had pimento cheese. Had I known, I would’ve gotten a different side. But that’s personal preference. I cannot say enough about the hot honey brussel sprouts. They were divine!!

Our amazing visit was highlighted by our waitress Milly. She was an absolute delight! Friendly, professional, and efficient. Her recommendations were spot on. All 3 of us decided we wanted breakfast for lunch. PRO TIP: order the homemade sausage patties without pause. Don’t think, don’t debate, order them!
The breakfast potatoes were cooked and spiced to perfection. The biscuits were fluffy and mouth-watering.
(*pics- sorry, the food came and we dug in before I was able to snap a picture.)

We were so pleased with our breakfast that we had to try their desserts. The apple tart ala mode never stood a chance!!! Well done chef!

A cute little spot in the middle of small Waleska. Small staple menu with an add on list of specials. I have eaten here twice now (breakfast and dinner) and both times I’ve had fantastic service and really tasty food. The atmosphere/decor is quaint county and comfy. Small restaurant so I could see them eventually getting a wait, but both times we’ve been sat quickly. It’s my mom’s new favorite restaurant and we’ll definitely be back again and again.

Wow—finally, a good restaurant in this building in Waleska! I have been in Waleska for over 20 years, and this specific building has seen various restaurants and businesses that just don’t survive.

What makes it better is that it’s family owned business. The parking lot was full, which is a great sign, and the ambiance was warm and inviting.

I ordered the mushroom Swiss burger with a side of roasted Brussels sprouts drizzled with balsamic glaze, and my boyfriend tried the kickin’ chicken with fries. Both dishes were bursting with flavor and clearly made with quality ingredients.

Our server, Clare, was incredibly friendly and welcoming. As someone whose parents own a restaurant, I truly appreciate the effort and love that goes into family-run businesses. This place has the potential to thrive where others haven’t lasted. I can’t wait to return and try more from the menu!

My husband and I were visiting from out of town and were recommended to come check this place out. Claire was our server and was kind and thorough in providing an excellent guest experience. I had the kielbasa hoagie with a side salad and it was incredible! My husband had their special Brisket burger on Texas toast with onion rings and he also enjoyed his meal. We were both fans of the peach BBQ sauce, it was the perfect combination of sweet and tangy. We were surprised to find out that the restaurant had only been open for a few weeks! Overall the food and service were outstanding and we look forward to returning next time we’re in Waleska!

Very nice couch at entrance. Food was all disappointing though. Onion rings, flavorless, soft batter. Sandwich wet and scary looking. Grilled cheese has leathery soft bread, no crisp in any fried items. Green beans have no flavor. Chicken has no flavor, tastes like panko and nothing else, hard to swallow. Soft flavorless fries, mashed potatoes taste like only potato skins. Plastic lid on bbq sauce melted and won’t shut anymore, which means there is MELTED PLASTIC IN THE BARBECUE SAUCE. Someone forgot seasoning and salt and pepper for everything. Might be a great place for very old folks to eat though.

I went there as I saw some good items but after going there I found couple of issues. First issue is prices are different when compared to the pictures in the attachments, and the atmosphere is bit dull. Some of the items we ordered were really good some of them not so much, I might not go here again as it had less parking as well as compact space. It has about 20 tables and most of them are 2 seaters or 4 seaters.

Below are the items I ordered and their ratings.
Country Fried Chicken – 10/10,
Chicken Tenders – 7/10 – was not cooked well

Meatloaf sandwich was very hearty. Onion rings were cooked perfectly as well. Chef came over before large party was seated and asked what I was having in order to get the order out to me. I thought it was a nice thing to do. I would recommend this place, and I will be going back.
