Update:
I felt that the lady who left the review stating her kids only said a flavor was going to leave a bad review so I tried to beat her to the punch. But to give my point of view, the kids only asked for literally “a scoop” of the flavors they stated. They never asked for a double. When they were ordering, they were asked what flavors they wanted, she was on her phone not paying attention. When they went to the register, that’s when the kids told her what they wanted and she made a big deal out of her kids not stating what size they wanted in the first place. If that was the manager helping, she was never mean or rude to the children or the rude mother. She was understanding, corrected the order, and rung her up correctly. If you get the chance to stop by, try it out. I promise you won’t be disappointed!
Vanilla Sorbet tastes decently sweet – without much vanilla bean, per se – but is also impressively creamy for a dairy-free option. The OG Goodness (Brown Sugar Ice Cream with Butter Cake) is so nicely sweet and paired perfectly with the bitterness of the Dark Chocolate Sorbet.
Serving cups are densely packed as well, though the prices are sky-high. Still, a fantastic option for a late-night treat!
I’ve been back since my first visit and was really impressed with the service and had stopped going to Jenni’s completely. However, today (12/27) @ 8:50pm I visited and the young lady (who claimed to be the manager) was very rude and had absolutely no customer service skills or leadership qualities. Not only is she a liar but she got upset about something she should have clarified… something as simple as if you want a double, single, etc. when taking teenagers orders. Because she failed to ask she gave them single but they wanted doubles and then had the nerve to say they asked for singles when I heard them very clear, ONLY tell her the flavors they wanted. Then she tried to over charge me by adding the singles to my ticket after she took them back to the back…
Like girl… PLZ! If them kids were NOT with me i would have used your very unfriendly words with her and left all that mess there not paying a dollar. I do not play about good service and I will be contacting someone over her and writing a review on every social media platform to let her know that people might allow her to get away with it but I won’t and if it’s not corrected they will definitely be losing a customer or more.
My goddaughter and I visited here on our Sundays date. She really enjoyed her ice cream and the experience. We normally go to Jenni’s but when I’m walking in the area, I passed this place and loved their reviews so I asked her if we could give them a try. She said, she likes Butter & Cream better and she cannot wait to go back.
The staff were okay. They could work on being a little more friendly and as some smiles but overall, great experience and we will return. She dug into her ice cream and I forgot to get pictures before she was almost done . Highly recommend!
Stopped by this fantastic ice cream shop in downtown Decatur, and I’m so glad I did! The location is super convenient — right next to MARTA — making it a great stop whether you’re exploring the area or just passing through.
The flavors here are top-notch. I highly recommend the strawberry — it’s not overly sweet and tastes just like fresh, real fruit. Their coffee flavor is another standout — smooth, rich, and incredibly satisfying. You can really tell they put care into their ingredients.
Friendly service, cozy vibe, and delicious ice cream — what more could you ask for? I’ll definitely be coming back!
