Food was tasty and they give you plenty. Had the Jalapeño popper omelette, was skeptical on how it would taste but it was great and different tasting. My wife had the cinnamon sugar pancakes and they were heavy and fluffy. Definitely going back

I was super excited to try the Butter Cafe with it’s attractive menu options. We were seated immediately but, not offered drinks for approximately 30 min or longer. They were very short staffed so we were understanding. They didn’t even bring out silverware until after we asked for it and food was already served. The mean green omelet I had was delicious but the home fries were drenched in salt so much that I could barely eat more than 3 bites. My daughter ordered the jelly filled pancakes, which looked delicious but, she also only ate 3 bites. I thought that was because she wasn’t hungry so I took it to go for her to eat later. Turns out she didn’t eat them because the underside was completely black! They should have never served this. See pic. Also, I didn’t see any prices for the drinks on the menu but $6 for a tiny lemonade is outrageous. I wouldn’t have ordered that if I had known it was that much!

I’ve been here time and time before and this is my first time leaving a review… The pancakes are good here. The other food is decent enough, some is in question. I just don’t like when my food is always brought out cold. My potatoes are never hot and they are quick to bring out pancakes with a big thing of butter on it that never melts into the pancake because the pancake is not hot enough. I also think this restaurant has successfully outgrown its building. Yes the area is good however, it seems to be too crowded and loud inside. Can’t really enjoy breakfast without hearing everyone else’s conversation’s because it’s too loud and tables are really close to one another.

Coffee was good. Service was good. Food was very average, the potatoes were not done. That omelette has tortilla chips but I never saw them.

My husband and I went with the biscuits and gravy. Came out in less than 5 minutes and was absolutely foul. The biscuits have been stored in the freezer for idk how long. Crumbly, dry, almost like cement. I’m not sure how it was even served. The vanilla latte was good and the server was very kind. I don’t normally complain or send food back but I don’t have a death wish.

Although this place came HIGHLY recommended, I did not have a good experience today. We were quoted a wait of 40 minutes, but ended up waiting an hour and a half. After ordering, it took another hour for our food to arrive, and by that time, I had to catch a flight. I, then, had to leave my party to enjoy their meals, while I left without a single bite of food and an, “I’m sorry” from the staff. This is highly unacceptable service.

Used to love this place. Overtime prices have gone up and quality continues to plummet. No one answers the phone anymore, and you’re prompted to order online or leave a voicemail. Too bad there’s literally no option to leave a voicemail, and the online order system makes it impossible to order multiple of the vegan options. I’ve also been given “vegan” food obviously contaminated with bacon and milk chocolate, and was possibly just given non-vegan pancakes all together. The food is good, if you can ever manage to get a hold of it LOL.
