We had beer and fabulous food. Fried fish sandwich, Burgers, brisket sliders, truffle fries, chicken sandwiches.. Portions were plentiful..
Our waitress was amazing. We are not from the area however.. one day we’ll stop by again !!
Seating is nice and it was pretty clean but the tables were sticky. Not recent stickiness but a buildup, I guess. With certain tabletops that is hard to avoid and I get that but I didn’t like it.
Menu is nice with elevated bar food. We tried the onion ring appetizer. The beer batter was very tasty. I ordered the General Butler chicken sandwich and received the Ragin’ Cajun chicken sandwich. It was of good quality but I didn’t care for the flavor profile, which is why I didn’t order it to begin with. I upgraded my fries to chili cheese fries with there praised house made chili. The chili was mediocre. It didn’t taste very refined. The beer cheese sauce was very good. I didn’t care for their fries. They were truffle fries and they just weren’t good. On a side note, my dining companion ordered a well done mushroom cheeseburger and she said it was delicious and cooked perfectly. I would maybe give Butler Brew Works another try but I’m not in a rush to.
We ordered these awesome rice puff tacos three ways and the truffle potato skins – soooo delicious! The food is very unique and it is sourced from local farms.
The drinks were also great and all sourced from local distilleries – CJ Spirits, Maggie’s Farm Rum, Iron & Ice, and Wigle. I tried almost all of them 🙂
I don’t, sadly can’t, drink beer but I still had a great time and enjoyed an awesome meal and conversation.
Butler Brew Works is located on the main drag through the Town of Butler.
Time was around 4- 4:30 pm and there we only 2 people seated at the bar. There are square tables on the one side and higher round tables on the other. A garage door was open and you got plenty of air and saw the hustle and bustle outside. It is nice.
Entered and was greeted like we were regulars..nice.
Not much of a micro brew drinker and had not idea which to try, the hostess ask what I normally drink and suggested one of their brews.
Excellent. Hostess did well.
Wife had a few of the samples and liked them as well.
We ordered food, a reuben sandwich w/ fries and she had a burger w/fries…food was excellent.
If your in the area you must stop by for a quick beer and bite or spend the evening out drinking..and eating…
You won’t be disappointed.
