Butera‘s restaurant opened on Long Island in 1991. Our Woodbury location opened in 1999 where we have been serving the community ever since we are a family run neighborhood restaurant that has a broader appeal often friends meeting from different parts of the island at our convenient location, our food is regional Italian quality with good portion. We feature a renovated dining area and outdoor seating with weather permitting ample parking with great shopping perfect for an afternoon lunch and visit or a weekday dinner and a special weekend night meet up with friends.

When someone comes to visit our town, this is the restaurant you should take them to. They also have outside tables when it is nice weather. Most of the foods are delicious. My favorite dishes are grilled shrimp salad, cauliflower pizza, and scallop risotto. Someone will always come to your table and ask you if you need anything. Bon appétit!

Atmosphere and food excellent. Great taste good portion. I expected higher prices. There was only 3 tables when we arrived. Waiter was friendly but not efficient. I went to this restaurant for the first time because I heard the Thai calamari was delicious.
The warm, cheese-flavored aperitif bread that came out first was very delicious.
I ordered a margarita pizza and a Thai calamari, and the pizza was average with a slightly wet dough and The Thai calamari was sweet and the sour sauce was really good, but I wish the calamari had been fried a little more crispy. There was. Still, overall, it was very delicious. I’ll definitely visit again.

My seafood pasta was very good, I asked for it spicy and they did not disappoint. The beet salad appetizer was great. My wife has the Seared tuna, it was overdone and the side with it was not very appetizing looking. She said it was OK, not good. Long wait we’ve though we had a reservation about 50 minutes.

Delicious food. I really loved the veal sausage pan lasagna. Unfortunately they don’t make the veal sausage pan lasagna anymore, however my new go to is the penne with chicken and shrimp. The waitress Christina was very attentive. We enjoyed the outdoor dining with propane heaters. We had a delicious dinner outdoors today. Jess was a very attentive waitress. Can’t wait to go back again.

Absolutely amazing experience and food. Chef & his wife were wonderful. The meatball float is to die for. As is the ragu pasta & fettuccini with scallops and crab. Will definitely be coming again. I ordered take out. My food was ok and honestly I was shocked. I have eaten here b4 n food has been delish in the past. I wanted a lentils soup and got tortellini instead n not good. The pasta dish supposedly in a fra Diablo sauce n it was more like a tomato sauce no spice not fra Diablo at all. Very disappointed with our dinner.

They are nestled in a refined plaza. This restaurant is welcoming from the moment you walk in. They have a fine selection of Italian food. We started with some appetizers. Boy, did the margarita pizza taste superlatively good alongside the chicken meatballs.
The rigatoni broccoli rabe chicken meatball was a hit! I recommend this dish without a doubt. The staff was exceptional and the ambiance was cozy with a touch of exclusivity.
