I want to express my thanks to Butches Uptown in Haverhill for always giving us exceptional customer service, smiles when they serve, a welcoming feeling when we walk through the door and more.
I organize large groups and every time I visit I have 12 to 15 people with me. Last Friday we had Jenna as the waitress and she was fantastic to say the least. Again, they have impressed us with their can do attitude, mouth watering dishes and great atmosphere. I have never had a bad meal here and we will continue to visit here. Thank you Butches Uptown and we will see you soon.

I called ahead and put my name in because we had a larger group. When we arrived there were people waiting, but we were sat immediately. Our waitress was super attentive and had a good attitude! All of our meals were so good! I don’t have one complaint!
Pictured is my Dad’s veal parmesan, that was a special, baked haddock and bread pudding. It’s hard to get pics when everyone is hungry!

Moved close to the area recently and had heard about this little hidden spot. Very busy place, and had called ahead to speak to Debbie, The Manager about having a dessert ready for a belated celebration with my husband. Calamari was good, but just an average portion. Side salad and caesar salad were both delicious. Chicken parmesan dinner and Ribeye Steak dinner did not disappoint. A great casual spot, with lots of options! A must try!

I recently dined at this local spot and was thoroughly impressed. The grilled swordfish was cooked to perfection, tender and flavorful. The cozy atmosphere added to the overall pleasant experience. However, the wait time for our meal was longer than expected, which was a bit frustrating. Despite this, the friendly staff made up for the delay with their attentive service.

I read the reviews before going here, and they were all pretty positive. French Dip got high marks, so I ordered it with a baked potato. Mostly fat, and the potato was half cooked. I was with a large group, so didn’t want to send it back. Pretty awful l. They also charge extra for a baked potato? Really?!?. That’s a first for me.

Ashley and Sue are a delight per usual. Great customer service and personable. I usually get the atomic pasta which is EVERYTHING but switched it up and got the chicken sandwich.. it wasn’t seasoned great but still decent. The drinks were tasty

I’ve been a salad lover all my life. Butch’s spinach salad is by far the best salad you can find. I can’t recommend this triumph enough. I pray they never discontinue this delicious item!

Haven’t been here in years figured I’d try it out on a date. Ordered the 16oz rib eye steak. Smdh it was 8 oz a best. Ordered it medium rare? Came out rare. Luckily the dates seafood plate was decent. Service was slow. But I’ll never go back. This is a 16 oz rib eye

Great food, Great Staff, and Great atmosphere. I highly recommend either their mashed potatoes or loaded potatoes along with your entree. I had their sirloin steak tips and they were cooked to perfection. I also highly recommend their martini’s.

Started with a friendly greeting and quick seating. Bread and butter was on the table in less than a few minutes.
Our waitress Lauren took the drink order and remembered our water (always a plus in my book)
We ordered an appetizer of potato skins which I would recommend. 4 large skins filled with bacon, cheese and scallions served with sour cream. Very tasty.
When she took our order and realized the appetizer had just arrived she delayed the entree order for a few minutes which is a small detail many places overlook.
Entrees for tonight was fish and chips. Fish was perfectly battered, not too thick or thin and just enough flavor. Home made fries were great.
Dessert of bourbon pecan pie was a Wow!
Almost forgot the drinks. Raspberry chocolate martinis were delicious.
