Absolutely delicious food and wonderful staff. Ordered online for takeout, but the restaurant looked very clean and diner vibey inside. Brought home the fried chicken tenders, smoked pork shoulder, brussel sprouts, mac and cheese, broccoli salad, hush puppies and strawberry rhubarb pie. Fried chicken, mac and cheese and hush puppies were stand outs, but everything was delicious and so well cooked. We’ll definitely be back!

I have to say I left disappointed last night. I dull at love there chicken Fingers they are home made and tasty. Went with the family waited close to 30 minutes a couple that came in 10 minutes after us got food first. It was not that busy although a lot of skip or uber orders. We ordered 2 orders of chicken fingers and 2 burgers and when we got our fingers they were cold. I sent mine back my daughter kept hers. When I got mine back it was as if the fries were from the bottom of the fryer and the chicken was also very hard. I usually love their chicken tenders but left disappointed. In the picture the order with the fries was the ones I got back hot. Went back and give it another try and was happy with the quality of the food this time.

Amazing and unique food. The chicken fried steak is my favorite thing on the menu. The smoked wings are great and my wife loves the friend chicken sandwiches. Devilled eggs, hush puppies and cucumber salad are our go to sides.
Even the kids love eating the mac and cheese here and hanging out on their large outdoor dining area.
This is the type of restaurant that deserves to celebrated and shared so everyone can enjoy it.

Got the burger and add pimento and bacon. Best burger is durham. Everything was made in house. The Mac and cheese and coleslaw were solid. Definitely going back.

Came here for the first time today, and it definitely did not disappoint! The food was delicious and very filling, and the service was warm and friendly. We tried the Nashville Chicken Sandwich and the Buttermilk Fried Chicken Fingers along with Fries, Mac and Cheese, Hush Puppies and Yams with Old Bay Seasoning. Also had a Vanilla Milkshake and Dr Pepper for drinks. Everything we got was super tasty and the portions were generous. Our server Kirsten was so helpful and made some solid recommendations! We had a really good time here and will definitely be back for more in the future.

Real food takes real time, and that’s exactly why it tastes so good. If your order takes a little longer sometimes, it’s because someone is actually cooking for you.
Yes, it might cost a more than a Big M@c, but that’s because you’re not getting processed fillers or mass-produced food. You’re getting quality ingredients and care, and I’m more than happy to pay for that.
What really makes Butchie’s special is the atmosphere. It’s welcoming, inclusive, and feels like a place where people genuinely care. My family has shared so many great meals and memories here, especially great chats with my boys and that means a lot to me.

Butchies definitely a one of a kind place. It was clean, cheerful and more than inviting. The staff was friendly and shared their enthusiasm for what they were providing. Loved the pulled pork sandwich, And the hamburger was the best we’ve ever eaten. The mac & cheese was a little salty but still tasty. And the homemade lemonade was promised to be tart, but was still way too sweet. Can’t wait to go again. Too bad we don’t live closer. It was a bit pricey.

This is a good place to get a big, delicious meal. I got myself the fried country steak with hush puppies and cucumber salad, and I can say, without a doubt, it was tasty and filling. My drink also happens to be my dessert, because I got myself a chocolate peanut butter shake from Kawartha ice cream – the best ice cream out there. The items are kinda pricey, but considering that a) you’re getting a meal and YOU are choosing a variety sides as part of that meal, and b) most chain/franchise restaurants are just as if not more pricier, going to a place like this is the better option – support local, right?
Anyways, I like this place, and I’m coming back in the future.
