Butcher and Singer: An Upscale Steakhouse Experience in …
Reviews
To start, we ordered tacos and bone marrow. We had made a special request for the tacos to be the same flavour, and we absolutely loved them. The bone marrow was out of this world, with perfect saltiness and a rich, fatty taste.
For mains, we ordered the tenderloin, tomahawk, and a one-month dry-aged ribeye. Everything was cooked exactly as requested. This was my first experience with dry-aged meat, and it was truly amazing—it’s insane how much dry aging enhances the flavours.
One small complaint though: the drinks arrived very late.
The steaks were cooked to perfection—tender, juicy, and packed with rich flavor. The Wagyu ribeye, in particular, had incredible marbling and simply melted in the mouth. Every bite was balanced, flavorful, and expertly prepared.
Even when compared to steaks we’ve enjoyed in different parts of the world, this easily ranks among the best. A definite must-try for all steak lovers in Lahore. Highly recommended!
I highly recommend Butcher’s Steakhouse to everyone visiting Pakistan. It is truly top-class experience ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

They have a relatively compact menu of a soup, a few salads, a few starters, different steaks, a few chicken dishes, a dessert, and a few drinks.
Food portions are filling, are well-prepared, and taste extremely good. Staff are friendly, and service is top-notch. They have indoor seating. They accept cash and cash. They are priced slightly above-average. They have valet parking.
The beef quality here is very good, doesn’t need to be hidden under sauces. And they cooked the steak at exactly the temperature I asked for.
Service can improve a bit.
The menu is where they step up. They have a good offering of starters and even chicken main course to sympathies for the non meat eaters but this time we went right to the meats. When you see the steak menu you feel skeptical 5,000 of a Ribeye? 8,000 for a Tomahawk? Not possible that too with side and sauce? We got 1 Ribeye, 1 Tomahawk and 1 Deli Roast beef sandwich. The steaks were cooked to perfection and the meat was excellent mashallah I was taken away by the quality, quantity and price. Now days fine dine restaurants prices for streaks are going upwards, quantity and quality downwards. This place is a flip, I would even say a steal! You must have the Tomahawk and get side of their signature steak sauce and chmichuri just as options to keep for dipping fries or the occasional steak bite. The meat alone is too good for the most part and should be eaten as is. The Roast beef sandwich was nothing exciting more like a hunter beef style cut. Ribeye in front of the Tomahawk got undermind, however it was amazing as well and would have beaten the quality of any other steak house as well.
The prices I still can’t believe it 2 huge steak cuts with side and a sandwich all in just 16,000/-. Most places just the Tomahawk would have been 16 to 20k. Steak lovers must come here.
What it lacked was consistency in the beef. Some of the dishes were tender and didn’t require any chewing although some very chewy and unpleasant.
The steak was ordered medium well and served accordingly, so that was fine.
The best dished served was the “Beef crostini”. A small plate (appetizer) with juicy and tender beef served atop of bread. The bread was soggy however.
2nd place goes to the Deli roast beef, which had the chewy issue in some bites. But the crust on the sourdough was on point.
3rd place goes to the classic wagyu burger and 4th goes to the signature wagyu burger. Both of which were pretty mid at best.
The service and atmosphere were good though.
I visited Butcher’s Steak House with high expectations, but unfortunately, it did not live up to the hype. I ordered the ribeye steak and pasta. The steak was average and nowhere near the taste I was expecting. There are much better steak options available in Lahore. The pasta was very dry, with barely any cream or mushrooms.
What disappointed me the most was the packing service. When I asked them to pack the leftover steak, I later noticed at home that the packed portion was less than what was left on the plate. The vegetables (which were already very minimal) and the sauce were not packed at all. I have never experienced something like this before, when you ask to pack your leftovers, everything should be included. It felt unprofessional and careless.
