Our first time experience here was less than great because of the food portions and prices. I ordered the Mediterranean Bowl ($10.99) which wasn’t even half full nor did it come with crackers or bread or anything (maybe like a combo). The same with my friend’s order. My husband ordered an Aquafina bottled water and the Italian Stallion ($12.49), which he enjoyed. My and my husband’s LUNCH order came to about $30.44 (included $3.75 tip). The young lady at the register was pleasant, but wasn’t helpful with the menu. The store was clean and in order. It seems to be a popular place, but not for my budget.

This fabulous uptown spot is amazing. I usually have to go all the way into Durham for this type of vibe and unique artisan-style food, but I am SO glad to have randomly discovered this place while driving by one day! Perfect hours for lunch, great options, ingredients are fresh and tasty. Words cannot even express how excited I am to have such a place locally ❤️

The Butcher’s Daughter has quickly become one of my go-to spots. Their sandwiches are seriously so good! I really appreciate their focus on local meats, and the quality definitely shows. They’ve also got a great selection of spices, which makes it easy to grab something unique for cooking at home.
On top of all that, the people there are always so nice and welcoming. It’s got that local, community vibe that makes you want to come back.

From the moment you walk in, the vibe is amazing and you’ll want to take a seat and eat inside. Easy to read menu with plenty of choices! I had the Italian Stallion, served warm, with the salt & cracked pepper chips….sooooo good! Staff was super friendly and food was served quickly. I’m really looking forward to going back and trying one of their bowls!

We loved this place! Great Boars Head selection of foods. I have Lyme disease and Boars Head is what they recommend for me. So glad to find it here. Staff was wonderful. We met owner, she’s awesome! Wants to hear the foods we want here in our little town. Organic and gluten-free is our desire.
Will definitely be one of our favorite food places!

DELICIOUS! I heard that this place had amazing sandwiches, so I came up from Durham to test it out and it was well worth it! I got the Italian Stallion, it was *chefs kiss*! Great market selection, friendly staff, and shaded outdoor seating. Loved it!

First time trying Butcher’s Daughter…absolutely amazing and what our little town needs. I love that they have Boars Head products and the customer service is great! We ordered online and were able to pick up as soon as we arrived. 10/10 recommend!

We absolutely love this place. Whenever we go out to lunch it’s almost a given that we are headed to the Butcher’s Daughter! Italian Stallion, the Club, the Poke Bowls, so much to look at while you wait and the most pleasant staff. So glad we have such a high quality lunch spot in a land of red hot dogs (not that there’s anything wrong with that), and love that it’s local too. If you’re thinking of going to that New Jersey style place, go here instead! (and they have good beer in the fridge!)

When i first moved to roxboro i would come here on a weekly basis, always a great experience but things have def changed. There is always an issue with online ordering my stuff is never ready ive waited over 30 minutes everytime & all the employees look confused. I decided to give them another try today after months and take some family members. We all ordered around the same time, when we got there 15 minutes later (the time it was supposed to be ready) only 1 order was ready. We had to wait again over 30 minutes for the remaining orders and not only that their acai bowls were completely melted and watery and again everyone looked confused. They did not have a good experience and it sucks that a place i used to love have been such a dissappointed.

This was my first time trying “Butcher’s Daughter Market & Deli”. It was such a disappointment. I ordered what was supposed to be -Broccoli Cheddar soup, to go, but surprisingly when I opened the container, instead it was brownish milk colored water sloshing around and only a few barely recognizable tidbits of broccoli; And it had no taste….:
No taste of broccoli, No seasoning, and worse No taste or evidence of Cheddar Cheese at all, and with the consistency of water. Disgraceful to call it “soup” and disgraceful to serve this and charge a whopping $11 for bowl. Honestly, it was the worst “soup” I have ever had. Maybe there sandwiches are better?
