Had dinner outside on the patio with our dog. Tatchos were excellent. Burger and pulled pork sandwiches tasty, sweet smoky sauce. We arrived a bit after 6 pm & brisket was sold out. Good local beers too.

Ordered 2 meat bbq plate with sides of fries and chili.
The amount of fat on the brisket was absurd. How can you serve this?
The ribs weren’t even cut individually when served? What?
The chili had cheese in it, which was not expressed on the menu. I cannot eat cheese, so that was a waste.
Oh and when online ordering I showed up at the time it told me to be there and then waited an extra 18 minutes for this. This is my last visit here…I’ve tried to support them three times and been extremely underwhelmed with every visit.

Food was tasty but a bit expensive for what you get. I had the Muddy Waters sandwich which is their version of a French dip. The au jus was bland and the sandwich bread was very thin so it did not do a good job soaking up the jus. My daughter’s chicken tenders were burner. Mac and cheese side had a good cheese sauce but the noodles were over cooked. The greens were good but a tad too salty. The best dish was the totchos with brisket. So tasty I would return for that dish.

I tried the burger here last week and was so blown away from the texture and flavor, I decided to try the double down platter today. I got ribs and chicken. The flavor of the BBQ sauce is very unique, and I love that because so many BBQ houses taste like they are right out of a bottle. I say unique because I do not recall tasting this particular mixture before and let me tell you it ROCKS!!!! I feel I should also point out their Potato salad has an amazing unique flavor as well. I placed my order online and they immediately called me telling me that my order usually was not available until after 4pm (I ordered for a 3:30 pick up). I was t sure what to do but said not a problem I can come at 4. It really was no inconvenience but they threw in a berry cobbler for free cause they appreciated me being flexible.
Honestly…what’s not to like?!? HIGHLY recommend!!!

First time here. Certainly won’t be the last. I’m anxious to try a lot of other things on the menu. Many many years ago it was a really good Mexican restaurant. But now it is an excellent barbecue restaurant with some innovative twists. The brisket is perfect and on these tachtos (sp?) combined with all the other stuff they put on there it really shines. And the tortillas are fried in a Parmesan cheddar mixture that gives them a crispy crust which is truly delicious. It’s sort of like Italy meets Texas meets Mexico.

First time going with family who’s moving out of town and to celebrate my sons 22nd bday. Fabulous food, love atmosphere and they even bought my kid a beer. For 5 people was under $100. Couldn’t beleive it, great food and awesome prices will be back.

This place is a hidden gem. This was mine and my husbands first time eating here and we were very pleased with the service the gentleman was super helpful and very nice. The food was so flavorful and great food. You will not be disappointed. We will be trying them again.

If you don’t know what Portuguese Piri-Piri Chicken is all about yet… come all the way to Butcher Crown Roadhouse in Petaluma. It might be a bit out of the way, but definitely worth the trip! All ingredients are fresh, the service is amazing and the locale is welcoming, and super chill.
