Great Burgers, Room to Grow
The burgers here are excellent my wife had the Mini Mac, which honestly beats the Big Mac any day, and I went with the House Burger and salt & vinegar fries absolutely delicious.

That said, I wouldn’t recommend the Freedom Edge Cider or the Charms & Hexes Sour Beer both were a bit of a letdown. I’d suggest the owner give those another taste and consider a refresh.

Bathrooms could use locks on the doors and a little more attention to cleanliness, but with a few small tweaks this place could easily become a must-stop spot. The food alone makes it worth the visit!

While my photos may not do this place justice, the quality and taste of every item most certainly does. Myself and a colleague stopped in for a late dinner and were absolutely stunned by how impeccable the burgers were. They also have quite a few local brews on tap, which is always a delight.

The price was a bit more than I was expecting per person, but I think the quality is most certainly there and justifiable stop the next time I’m in the area.

My one recommendation would be to move away from cheap crinkle cut french fries and go with a straight cut fry. If you’re passing through, I would recommend the Nashville hot chicken sandwich and a Rum Punch.

We stopped on the way to the Mineral Museum for lunch with our 9 year old granddaughter. This is a small place with good service. We got a kids cheeseburger with fries for our granddaughter, fish tacos for my wife, and a fried haddock sandwich for me. All were very good, better than the national chain food. The wait was not too long and we didn’t feel hurried. We all enjoyed our food and were only a couple blocks from the Mineral Museum when we got back to the car.

Decent well cooked burger. Creative toppings.
Several interesting cold beers on tap and in bottles.
Even a double IPA.
A limited menu helps keep food fresh and lets the chef perfect each one.
Fires are outstanding.

What keeps them from a 5 star restaurant is that they charge $18 for a burger and have the chutzpa to charge another $5 for fries. I don’t need or want 8 oz of fries with my burger but a couple of ounces as part of the mark.would have been good!
Not very customer friendly.

The server was pleasant and prompt.

Honestly this place is amazing!!! I’m here with both of my boyfriends and got the crispy fishhh. Turns out the fish was still alive, even better!!! I think I might have to come back later with my whole family and watch some football on these huge flat screens. Overall my experience was great and I just love my water cup size, sip and refill!!!

This restaurant was highly recommended by our inn keeper. We loved the idea of fresh Maine sourced food. I ordered a Texas burger the bacon and patty were under cooked the bun was soggy and I got a mound of grease soaked crinkle cut fries- Definitely not fresh Maine French fries- the waitress either did not care that I barely touched my food or she was to busy to notice. Will not go back.

Very slow service, food was from a freezer at a local supermarket most likely, worst overpriced food, really bad. Spiders everywhere, doesn’t look like they clean the place at all. Really disappointed. Go to Kowloon next door if you want great service and good food.

The food here was amazing and the people were so nice! There was a wait and not much standing room but it wasn’t an especially long wait and everyone was great and super helpful! I’d say pricing is moderate compared to similar places. The food was absolutely incredible! We split a couple dishes to try a variety and loved everything! The cocktails didn’t stand out as much but weren’t bad. Plenty of parking in the lot and easy to find! Overall a nice experience, definitely would recommend!

Our server was a delight and they bring you water when you sit down. But the rest of the experience was lack luster. My wife really enjoyed her burger and fries. I got the falafel burger which was dry and missing an acidic element to bring it together. Charging 5 extra dollars for fries is crazy. We ended up spending 60 bucks! I didn’t even get a soda. Maybe I’d try the place again for $40, but I’ll just go somewhere else for those prices.
