Great Burgers, Room to Grow
The burgers here are excellent my wife had the Mini Mac, which honestly beats the Big Mac any day, and I went with the House Burger and salt & vinegar fries absolutely delicious.
That said, I wouldn’t recommend the Freedom Edge Cider or the Charms & Hexes Sour Beer both were a bit of a letdown. I’d suggest the owner give those another taste and consider a refresh.
Bathrooms could use locks on the doors and a little more attention to cleanliness, but with a few small tweaks this place could easily become a must-stop spot. The food alone makes it worth the visit!
The price was a bit more than I was expecting per person, but I think the quality is most certainly there and justifiable stop the next time I’m in the area.
My one recommendation would be to move away from cheap crinkle cut french fries and go with a straight cut fry. If you’re passing through, I would recommend the Nashville hot chicken sandwich and a Rum Punch.
Several interesting cold beers on tap and in bottles.
Even a double IPA.
A limited menu helps keep food fresh and lets the chef perfect each one.
Fires are outstanding.
What keeps them from a 5 star restaurant is that they charge $18 for a burger and have the chutzpa to charge another $5 for fries. I don’t need or want 8 oz of fries with my burger but a couple of ounces as part of the mark.would have been good!
Not very customer friendly.
The server was pleasant and prompt.
I was happy with the lobster roll
And the bartender / hostess was phenomenal
