Fast and friendly service! We sat down and within 30 were greeted and brought drinks. Within 5 minutes we already had our food! It was hot, fresh and absolutely delicious. The green chili is my new favorite and the cinnamon rolls omg!! Yum. Super affordable food too. Give it a try!

An absolute phenomenal experience at the butcher block cafe, this spot is an upmost precious gem in the neighborhood. Not only is the food consistent in flavor and presentation, but the staff is a team effort from the back to the front. There is constant communication throughout the entire floor not through word but through teamwork!!

If you are in the area you have to go here for breakfast. It was so good I swear I need a nap now. The whole picture came out to $34 which I think is a great price considering it fed me and my husband and we have enough for breakfast tomorrow too. The smothered burrito has a green chile sauce of some kind and I am in love. The service was great too, it was quick and they were super sweet!

Brayann was freaking killer . I walked in and four ppl just looked at me. A woman said bry will be right with u . But she didn’t go tell her I am in industry so I thought that was kinda rude of other employee cause I say there waterless for a grip of time. Then my waitress finally saw me tucked away in corner of bar and she made up for lost time in a second with her obvious career waitress skills . She not only helped me with recommendations she brought me my food in like 6 min . I ordered breakfast burrito with gravy and she even brought me a side of green chilli so I can try for next time . . Only reason I’m coming back . Thanks girl breath of fresh air

I came to Butcher Block Café in Denver expecting fresh cinnamon rolls and 24/7 service based on some Instagram posts unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the hype. The cinnamon rolls were just reheated in a microwave and not fresh at all. On top of that, the staff were unprofessional, openly talking badly about a coworker while I was the only customer in the café. I also ordered some food, but rather than preparing something fresh, it seemed like they just scraped whatever was on the griddle. Really disappointing overall. I had high hopes but won’t be coming back.

Just an old school “greasy spoon” with a vintage flair. Good is excellent. I got a cheese omelette and the wife got the #1 and the cinnamon roll, which was amazing. Not overly sweet. The eggs were great and the hash browns hit too.
